Year 2, Thursday wk 7 on the Belly Fat Cure

Good Morning,

I have to tell you that from driving back and forth to Lisa's new apartment the past 3 days in such bad traffic has probably taken 10 years off my life. Wow! How stressful. As you know, I don't work right now and have not had to drive in that kind of traffic for many years. In the rush hour traffic it is at least 1 hour each way. Tuesday it was 1 & 1/2 hours to get there because of an accident. Man I am glad I don't do that every day.

I have been eating breakfast at home before I leave.
Today I ate:

breakfast; cherrios w/ 1 truvia, vanilla unsweetened almond breeze, 8 blackberries, 2 eggs, and 2 turkey bacon and of course my coffee.

Lunch; I had 1/2 of a salad w/chicken and cesar dressing and a few fries and some fried zuchinni dipped in ranch.

snack; cheese and a hand full of walnuts and a Dr. Zevia.

dinner; stir-fry veggies w/chicken and some fettuccine sauce and brags, and some RediWhip after.

I am so tired from being over at Lisa's. All she wants to do is shop for stuff and spend money. Waiting around for hours while she picks stuff out is exhausting!!! Wednesday we were at IKEA for at least 3 1/2 hours. But the good part of that was, I ate the meatballs and some broccoli before we left.

Well thanks for listening. Lots of love to all. Please leave comments.

My thought for the day:

If you take care of the moments, the moments take care of your life.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Wow sounds like you have been running around like crazy. I would be exhausted, but in all of that you still ate wonderful food choices! Great job Rosalie. I am totally inspired to follow your healthy ways and I am happy this time I haven't given up like I have so many times before and I contribute that to you partly. Because you have always helped me in these past two months. I don't know if I will reach my weight loss goal this week, but I am trying. :)

  2. Uggh! I hate traffic like that! My commute to work is about 12 minutes on a good day. We got yet another dumping of snow overnight and my commute was 30 minutes this morning. I cant imagine tacking on another hour to that.
You are so dedicated to BFC Rosalie. I have been teetering between BFC & weight watchers plans lately and I think I really need to choose one or the other as it is getting to be too much work to count on 2 plans.
Its been a very exhausting week for me. Glad its Friday! Have a great weekend!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
