Year 2, Tuesday wk 9 on the Belly Fat Cure

Good Morning,

Yesterday I just stayed at home and didn't do much. It was a boring and lonely day. Well, I did vacuum.  Hubby was working nights so he just came home in the morning and went to sleep. Then then he woke up he left to go run an errand and then visit his mom before work. He is sleeping now and then off for 3 days then back to working day shift over the weekend. So alone again....

I did go walk with my 2 doggies between the rain storms yesterday As we were walking I could see the black rain clouds coming. So we tried to hurry and made it before they came.

When I came back from my walk I watched a movie on Netflix called FROZEN. Holy Moly!! It was about these 3 people who go skiing. They talk the guy into letting them go up the mountain on the lift - just one more time before closing. BAD MOVE!!! Cause that guy gets called into the office and some other guy takes over the controls and leaves them up there on the lift and turns off all the lights and power.

So they are stuck up on the lift wayyyy up in the air and it is freezing. So here is the best part...It is Sunday evening and the lodge will be closed until Friday. Yikes!! 5 days till anyone will come back. Then of course there are wolves below them on the ground.

So here is what I have to say about that. That is probably why I never go skiing....and Never will - EVER!  HaHa. Scary!

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 eggs, coffee blah, blah, blah.

lunch; 2 slices of oasis bread w/ a little mayo and tuna on each piece and melted some pepper jack cheese on top in the toaster oven. and a spinach salad w/feta cheese and bacon bits and creamy balsamic dressing.

snack; super seed w/water

dinner; buffalo wings and some green beans.

  1. That would be hard to be away from a hubby. I know that it would be. Maybe it would be fun to do something part time. Like take a class or get a interesting part time job. I would be bored staying at home I think. That is just me. Sometimes if my hubby has plans out, there is this painting class they offer at a photography studio close to my house. I took a class with a friend and panted a cute tree and now I have homemade art. hehe!! Just suggestions. :) Glad you made it home before the rain hit. I think I took all your sunny weather here in GA. Its been high 70s low 80s lately, but I hear next week is going to be yucky with rain. :( So maybe that means sun for you.

    OHHHHH and change my weight to 200.4 on the right hehe

  2. Oh my gosh, I saw that movie! It was awful! I'm glad I saw it, but it was awful:) I don't intend to go skiing anytime soon either!
    I started a blog too. It's pretty boring, but I wanted to remember my journey.
    I do have a question about fiber? Why is the Metamucel capsules not a good thing to take? They have the phsyllium fiber in them?

  3. Kay, I just looked it up and it says you take 6 capsules to get just 3 grams of fiber.
    You can take clear benefiber or clear metamucil 1 tbsp in your coffee in the morning and get 4-5gms of fiber. it's easier and no taste. Then in the afternoon I use Super Seed (on the products tab) w/water for 5 more grams of fiber. Plus what ever you eat.
    I've been doing this for a while and these 2 are the easiest and work best for me.

  4. Man you are brave to watch scary movies, I get super jumpy and scared. Skiing is actually pretty fun, I haven't done it in years my folks used to take me cross country skiing. No chair lifts and less scary :) Anyway I hope you have a nice day today

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
