As you already know, I have been doing the Belly fat cure for over a year and have lost 81lbs so far. Amber suggested that we all get checked out after the marathon she ran in and unfortunately one man died after crossing the finish line at a very young age of 34 ? I think.
So - I wanted to post the results of my blood work from yesterday. The one benefit of having Kaiser is that you can view the results of your tests and many other things online.
There were many tests done, I counted 9 in all. I could put them all - but I don't know what they are and they are all in the normal range whatever they are.
These are the ones that stick out and I understand.
My weight you already know;
my blood pressure was; 117/80
pulse; 71
temp; 99.2
resp; 17

I wanted to share this with all of you because some people think that the Belly Fat Cure is not healthy for some reason. All my numbers look with-in the normal range to me.
I hope this is helpful and for you all not to worry about your cholesterol while while doing the Belly Fat Cure.
Ok - so now this is a breakfast!! You know I believe in eating a good breakfast. This is what I ate this morning.
2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, sauted spinach, 8 blackberries,
2 oasis bread (only 1 sugar and 8 grams of carbs each slice)
w/butter and raspberry Natures hollow sugar free preserves,
coffee w/truvia, powdered cream, cinnamon and clear benefiber.
I feel if we eat a good breakfast, you are less likely to cheat through out the day.
So yesterday after we dropped off Maria at the airport, we stopped at Nordstrom's Rack on the way home. I am so excited about losing all this weight that I wanted to start wearing heels again. Not all the time - I'm not nuts!! So I am gonna model the shoes I got for you....
these are Steve Madden and were 75% off - $15 |
These were Steve Madden also 75% off - $15 |
Fergie shoes for 1/2 off - $25 |
I know you saw these before - but they are very sassy. BCBG at Marshalls for $40 |
I saw that sweater at nordstroms rack..cute cute cute! love the shoes also.

Love the shoes...wish I could wear some cute shoes like that but I hate the look of my feet i think my toes are to long! Thanks for posting your results I have women that are on my spark team that are always worring about what this diet could be doing for their health and this would be a good example.
ReplyDeleteLove love love all the shoes and that sweater!! :) Wow I never have been to a Nordstrom Rack. I need to find one for sure now I see they got cute affordable stuff.
ReplyDeleteYour levels look great!! :) Your breakfast just makes me want to eat it right out of the pic!! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Whoo hoo!!! Thanks for sharing your test results, because it is easy to worry about eating the cheese and eggs cuz all the conventional wisdom says to stay away. It's so crazy to learn that it is sugar that is not only making us fat, it's making us sick. After what I'm learing on the bfc I see that a lot of the "healthy" diets are actually full of sugar.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the shoes. I am glad that you are feeling good about yourself and you want to wear them. When we feel fat it's like what's the point, I'm still fat, and it doesn't matter how I look.
You are such a good example for all of us. Jorge said that his test results came back good too, but I am more likely to believe you. I have nothing against Jorge, I value his advice and insight, but he is also pushing a brand and products and he personally has an agenda, although I don't believe it's bad, it's still an agenda to sell and make money.
OMG, I've broken an ankle! But on you with your manicured toes those shoes look adventurous, and a bit like the Towering Inferno - HOT! You got some great deals. Adorable sweater! I love flowers too. Thank you for posting your results so fast. Your ranges look great on everything, and that's a relief to know all those eggs we are eating are actually keeping our cholesterol low! Another Myth shot down. I think your sugar levels would have eventually gone to the High Risk Zone, if you would have continued on the heavy path. My friend is Diabetic now, after carrying around too much weight for many years. Congratulations on getting an excellent Health Report Rosalie! You did us proud.
ReplyDeleteCute shoes:) I am in week 2 of my "cure"! I have hit the "need fiber" hump! I am excited to read about the success of this plan.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the shoes too, esp the Fergie ones!! HOT HOT HOT! Agree with Kasey, your pedi looks awesome too! Cant be wearing those type of shoes with un manicured tootsies!
ReplyDeleteYour blood work is impressive and does disqualify all myths about the BFC way of eating. great post!
