Year 2, Thursday week 1 on the Belly Fat Cure

Hello Fellow BFC 'rs,

It is going to be a beautiful day over here in southern California. I'm sorry for those of you that live back East, but it's gonna be 77 degrees over here. I guess that's why I always walk anywhere from 1-3.5 miles every day. Even if we think its cold, that would usually only be around 50, which is warm to you easterners.

Every day is a new day, that is the way we have to look at the Belly Fat Cure. If we made a mistake the day before with our food, just shake it off and go at it again. NEVER GIVE UP!! Just keep going and eventually it will keep coming off. Just do like I always say, take 1 or 2 bites of something bad and then stop!!. Don't do this every day. Just once in a while.

Ok, so I said before that I bought the game to go with my Wii called, Active 2 personal trainer. I said I would do it 4 times a week like it says to do. Well I bought it right before the last time I went to Dad's. I did it once, and then was gone for so long. Now I have been home for almost a week and have not done it once.

This is one of the main reasons that I was so big before. I am lazy when it comes to exercise. I love to walk, and to me thats just fun, but real exercise is not in my thought process at all!! So I am gonna try real hard to use this stupid game and firm up my thighs. 4 times a week - that's not too bad, right??

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, 7 blackberries, 2 slices of Oasis low carb sprouted flaxseed bread w/creamcheese and josephs sugar free preserves, coffee, blah, blah, blah.
lunch; pizza made w/ a sara lee wheat pita, cheese, seeds of change pasta sauce, turkey pepperoni, spinach salad w/feta cheese, cesar dressing.
snack; super seed w/water, josephs sugar free cookies.
dinner; chicken wings, broccoli and green beans w/cheese on top.
chocolate and white redi-whip for dessert.

Don't forget to support my fellow BFC'rs friends blogs on the list below. We all work real hard and need all the support we can get.

Thanks for listening. Love to all of BFC friends. Please leave your comments of any concerns or questions you might have. Or just introduce yourself and say HI!

My thought for the day:

Live and Love the Moment

Live and Love the Moment Positive QuoteLove the moment. Flowers grow out of dark moments. Therefore, each moment is vital. It affects the whole. Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  4. Im totally jealous of the nice warm weather there. Its cold here in GA, not like north I imagine, but still cold enough. I have a Wii too and I wanted to get the newest biggest loser challenge game and give that a try. I saw it advertised on this season of the biggest loser, so I might have to give that a try. But I am like you, I don't mind the walks but after I get home from work, and cook dinner...I am just to lazy to do any working out. But you can do it, just have to make a little routine and try to stick to it, just like you did with your diet you followed so well. =)

  5. I used to love exercise, but after I work a full day, I barely even want to walk my dogs when I come home, let alone any other form of exercise. What's super seed again? I probably can find it on your blog somewhere but now I do have to go out and walk the dogs before the sun goes down. Thank Rosalie. Hey, you only have eight more pounds to go. I see you broke through into the 150's range. Nice..............................

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
