Sunday of week 50: The Belly Fat Cure

Ok - so I got home and called to Dads and Maria says he is real real bad. So I drove back over there this morning (Sunday). So I guess my magic dust powder only works while I am around him.

When I got there around 11am, he looked bad. He said I left too soon. I said I am sorry but I am back now. He asked me if he could leave now and I told him yes that I am here and everything will be OK. He said leave and never come back? I said well - you can come visit me as a ghost and fly around like a bird., and he smiled.

I just held his hand and he told me that he is confused. I just sat with him and he said for me not to leave.

Then after about 2 hours he said he felt better. Sat up in the bed, brushed his teeth and tried to shave. I cut his nails and filed them with a nail file, now he is fast asleep.

So I guess my magic only works on him when I am here.

So I am here all week. Hubby is working days so I don't have to worry about the dogs. Maria is very thankful that I came back. She really needs the help.

I am trying to eat 3 times a day, being nervous. And like usual I brought a bunch of my own food.

My weight this morning was back to 160lbs, so that will be my weight for tomorrow.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
