Saturday of week 50: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello to all of my BFC friends,

I decided to come home today (Saturday) because my Dad was feeling better and I wanted to go home. I can't tell you how many times in the past 3 months that I get the call from Maria (my step-mom) saying that dad is doing real bad and this might be it. So I get in my car and drive over to Vegas and then when he sees me he starts getting better.

So thats what happened this time too. We really thought he was checking out on thursday - but he got better. Maybe I should try to package my magic dust and share with the class. LOL.

I have been kind of nervous and tried my best to eat Belly Good while I was there for the 2 days. When ever I do go, I always bring a bunch of my own stuff.

I have noticed an increase in followers to my blog. I would like to welcome all of you to our little club. If there is anything that we can all help you with on the Belly Fat Cure, please leave a comment below and we will all do our best to help you.

Don't be shy or embarrassed. We are all friends on here and we are just all full of love and support for each other.

Keep doing the BFC and before you know it you too will be feeling and looking great. We sometimes get discouraged and depressed when we weigh ourselves and don't see a drop or even it might go up. Try not to take it to seriously. My weight goes up and down all the time.

But if you keep doing it and don't give up - it does really work. Be strong and try your best not to cheat.

Look at my weight loss progress and see for yourself.

I've been discussing lately with some people how I got started on this. I realized that I had to accept myself the way I was first. I had to try to like myself at 238lbs. I just thought I would be at size 18-20 for the rest of my life, and that's just the way it was.

Boy - I guess I showed myself HUH?

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:

Ideals and Destiny

Ideals and Destiny Positive QuotesIdeals are like stars; you will not succeed in touching them with your hands. But like the seafaring man on the desert of waters, you choose them as your guides, and following them you will reach your destiny.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  4. Your Dad must be a tough ol cookie. I see where you get it from to lose 78lb. You both must have tremendous will power! It's great you can drive over to see him even if it's 3.5 hr. away. My Mom told me today my Dad doesn't have to take Chemo anymore, and he is still taking his experimental drugs but he is doing really good. I'll probably fly back in April when the cold whether moves on. It's nice in San Diego then. Well still the same weight, can't seem to get past 165. At least I haven't gained. Oh Um!!! Have a great week.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
