I realized today that I have been holding back a little. It''s so hard for me to think of myself as thin yet. I realize I am, only when I look in the mirror. Come on - you all know what I mean right? I am so used to being a size 18-20 for such a long, long time. But now I am a size 12 and hopefully by the end of the year my goal is to be a size 9-10.

I still have all those big clothes taking up all the room in my small closet. I guess this weekend it's time for me to take them all out and give them to my step-mom Maria in Las Vegas. She is a size 18 and I promised her that she could go shopping in my closet. Since my dad is still in the rehab hospital, I will have to pack them up and take them to her.

I think in the back of my mind - I think this might reverse and I will need all the big clothes again. I know after all my hard work, I will not let that happen. So its time...........

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 3/4 cup of Uncle Sams cereal w/truvia and unsweetened almond breeze milk, 1 chicken sausage left over from the other day, and 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee... and the usual.
lunch; smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, turkey, mustard, spinach and some walnuts.
snack; super seed w/water
dinner; I made hubby and I each a foil pouch in the oven with halibut and sliced zucchini with lemon and butter and salt and pepper and some braggs. Then after 2 squares of Lindt 85% dark chocolate.

Please don't forget to visit and support all my BFC friends blogs on the list below.

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFc friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:

Don't lose your Enthusiasm
Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. I understand about the clothes....however my clothes are the opposite! I have very few 18-20's that I wear everyday...and a closet full of favorite smaller clothes that I'm looking forward to wearing again.
My breakfasts have been melted cheese toast on SF bread and Jay Robbs protein drink. (love the chocolate)I'm still eating the leftovers from the Mexican Chicken I made earlier this week for lunch. Dinners have been on the lighter side since Dan is out of town... mostly things like celery with peanut butter and/or cream cheese or salads.

  2. you guys are too funny. I have like 4 sizes of clothes in my closet, because in the past when I lost the weight, I always gained it back. I would like to wish that I could get rid of my fat fat clothes for a size 10 for good. I haven't succeeded as of yet. I did order some natures hollow jam today. I have some but I could lick the jar out to get it all. I love it but havent found a place that isnt outrageous with shipping or the cost is outrageous. It is some good stuff though.

  3. Throw out all the old clothes. I have been told in many weight classes that we keep them just in case...how sad huh. We should never think that way after we have worked so hard to become thin and happy. And remember you are THIN!

  4. Thank you for the suggestions yesterday with eating on busy schedule.
I have many different sizes in my closet too. Just the other day though I tossed some things as I realized they would not look good wearing no matter what size I was. This way of eating really is simple and I tend to make things way harder than they are.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
