Tuesday of week 35: The Belly Fat Cure

You know, I think one of the things that have kept me successful in this is the fact that I have always kept everything very simple for me from the beginning. I have never made too many complicated recipes. Whatever is easy and fast to fix is what I usually do. I guess that means I'm lazy. But let's face it - I guess I was a little cause how else did I get to 238 lbs. No the truth is that I just don't want my mind to be worried about recipes. I want to concentrate on loosing the weight instead.

Lets see.... yesterday I ate;
breakfast: smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 eggs, 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee w/truvia, half and half, cinnamon, and of course all my vitamins, reslina, and Barleans.
lunch: some kind of spicey chicken in a ceasar salad.
snack: super seed
dinner: shiritaki noodles w/ alfredo sauce and some frozen grilled chicken strips and broccoli.

I realize I don't eat all my 6 servings of carbs. Yesterday I probably had 2-3. But you have to remember how long I have been doing this. I used to eat, eat, eat. But now I am used to this way of eating, and I eat as much as my body needs. You don't have to eat like me if you are new. You can work your way up to it. Only if you want to. If you told me 8 months ago that this is what I would have to eat to loose weight, I would have told you to keep dreaming. I loved food way too much.

Well I don't want to keep going Blah - Blah - Blah! So that's it for now.

  1. Eat Good Stuff and Lose!!! Now THAT's my kind of diet! I have started having my Super Seed and Jay Robb Protein Shake in the morning as my breakfast. Then have a good carb for snack. Then a hearty lunch and lighten up on my dinner. BTW I lost 1 lb last week...could you please note that on the chart? =} (gotta try to keep up with the Jone's ya know!) Hope the dogs are doin' ok today... =D

  2. So you're saying I won't feel hungry in a few more month? Right now I'm pretty hungry, and it's late at night so I will keep typing to keep my hands busy so they won't go open the fridge door and search around in there:) I forgot to give you my goal and it's 135lb. Thanks Rosalie!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
