Hello,
Well I am planning on coming home today. I've had enough of no sleep for a while. I did have that talk with little sis yesterday. I actually told her "I HATE HIM". She listened and I begged her to just postpone the wedding for a couple of months. She said she would think about it. The date is Dec 18th. Way too soon! I thought she understood why I had the talk with her, but her mom told me she was crying after. She is in denial! Whatever. I did my lovingly sister part.
I feel so good about the BFC. Everyone (dad, step-mom, sisters) are all calling me the skinny sister. Lisa said Hey! I thought I was the skinny sister! Lisa was so surprised that I fit into size 12, cause some of her stuff is size 12. I think she just likes to wear them baggy.
Well, I have everything packed in the car and I'm off to the hospital to see Dad for a few hours then drive home to southern California.
Yesterday I ate;
breakfast: eggs, wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon and 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee with all the regular stuff.
Lunch; chicken tortilla soup w/o the tortilla strips and Caesar salad and about 7 fries from Islands.
snack; super seed
dinner; chicken and a salad w/ranch from El Polo Loco
Well thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.
Don't forget to leave your info for our year end goal chart to the right, and please support all of my BFC friend's blogs below.
My thought for the day;
You can become blind by seeing each day as a similar one. Each day is a different one; each day brings a miracle of its own. It is just a matter of paying attention to this miracle.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

I'm glad you got that off your chest. It sucks to be the right one. No one appreciates you so you just have to learn to let it go. It's her lesson to learn.
ReplyDeleteIslands is one of those restaurants I miss soooo much! I'm thrilled to be away from the fries but I miss their salads and chicken tacos. I probably ate there once a month in LA. *sigh*
I've been eating more veggies with my protein and almost no carbs. I was feeling like crap (probably detoxing from some 100-calorie crap packs the week before) and broke down and ate some white pasta. Helped my tummy be less queasy but not much else.
Safe travels.
Hey Rosalie! Bless you for speaking truth to your sis...Tough love is not easy... Hopefully she will know what is best for herself...and hear your heart! Sounds like I'm glad we don't have an Islands restaurant here in Austin! ~v*
