Friday of week 34: The Belly Fat Cure

Good day to everyone. I am so glad to be home. I missed my 2 doggies very much, and they really missed me. They wouldn't stop jumping on me and kissing when I came home. I know they missed their daily walks with me.  I'm gonna get back on that today.

I think I ate really well considering I was away from home. I seemed to go down in my weight. This morning I am 177 lbs. That's 1.5 less than from Monday. But I can't count it until Monday. That's my weigh-in day. A lot can happen between now and then.

I do plan on going to see that scary movie, Devil this weekend. Any scary movie - and I am there. And I always have to have popcorn at the movies. Since I can't have Milk Duds any more - I gotta have the popcorn.:-) I usually will skip my cars for lunch when I go to the movies to allot for the extra carbs in the popcorn.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast: eggs, wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon and 8 blackberries, 2 cups of coffee with all the regular stuff.
Lunch; one of those flat buns w/1 gm of sugar peanut butter, celery w/hummus dip and 1 midnight revere chocolate square by Giradelies.
snack; super seed and a few walnuts
dinner; 8 buffalo chicken wings and spinach salad with feta cheese, bacon bits and balsalmic vinigarette dressing w/1 gm of sugar.

Thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

Don't forget to leave your info for our year end goal chart to the right, and please support all of my BFC friend's blogs below.

My thought for the day;

Delight in yourself. Relax; lighten up. Let go of shame and fear. The whole picture is perfect, and perfectly okay.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  4. Rosalie,

I noticed that you didn't update my weight from my last weigh-in. Just in case you missed my comment, at my last weigh-in I had gained 4 pounds, putting me at 149 lbs.

  5. Rosalie,

Welcome back! I bet your dogs were so excited. I know everytime we leave for even a few hours they act like we have been gone forever. And great job on losing weight while you were gone, that always seems to be the hardest.

  6. I look forward to your blog everyday, can't wait to see what your final weight is on your weigh in. Isn't it funny how you eat basically the same things everyday, and do the same things virtually everyday, so you don't know how it is possible for the weight to go down, but it does : ) awesome

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
