Thursday of week 24: the Belly Fat Cure

So today is Thursday. We are almost finished moving in. It is hard when you are on the run doing the Belly Fat Cure. Everyone else eats burgers, Subway, and lots of junk and all I can have is meat and veggies or salad. Sometimes lately I have been having some fries (not the whole order) with my salad or meat.

I have to admit lately, I have been feeling just a little left out when everyone else is pigging out on regular food and I can't. When I see someone that hasn't seen me in a while, they are surprised at how I look and I can't wait to tell everyone that I lost 47 lbs (today's weight), and all about the Belly Fat Cure.

I have been doing this now for 5 1/2 months. I still feel very good about it. I plan to continue with the BFC. I am not going to give up. My goal is to get down to 150 lbs by the end of the year. I am not sure if I can do it, but I will NOT - NEVER - NO WAY give up until I reach my goal. I don't cheat. Maybe once in a great while I have a bite of something I'm not supposed to. I feel it keeps me Human and not like such a leper.

Thanks for listening. Love to all my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day: Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. You CAN have Subway and burgers on the BFC, though, right? I haven't read the book but was interested and watched the carb swap video he made. I remember being able to eat Subway without the top of the bread, and I think he mentioned a Burger King burger that you can eat as-is, too.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
