So I am now at 198lbs. I am very excited about this as you can imagine. I tell everyone that I meet that I lost 40lbs. They usually say WOW thats allot, how did you it? I tell everyone about Jorge's book. THE BELLY FAT CURE. I am not embarrassed at all to talk about it.
Yesterday we went over to our neighbors house in the evening for a BBQ. So I was hungry because I only had 1 carb for the day at lunch. I was looking at all the food;
corn - can't have that
pasta salad - can't have that
BBQ ribs - can't have that
cake - definitely can't have that
chips and salsa - can't have that
potato salad - can't have that
chicken - YUP
ceviche - yup
some kind of hot dog sausage - yup
So that's what I had while everyone else was pigging out. I did have 2 little bites of some kind of cake. But what was funny was, that I ate 1 pringle and 1 tortilla chip and felt like I was cheating. Funny Huh! Cause I really wasn't.

How to convert Sugar to Stevia

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for doing this blog. I love reading about your progress. I can definitely relate to all of your ups and downs. I'm doing the BFC too and I have also lost 40 pounds. I'm going to lose 10 more pounds and then try to just maintain. Have you thought about the maintain part at all??? I'm just wondering if it will be easier or harder?? Maybe soon we'll both figure out how to do the maintain part together...Thanks for inspiring me and others to continue with this lifestyle. I think Jorge would be very impressed.
