So for all my Jewish friends like me, I forgot to tell you that while I was in Vegas visiting my Dad we went to the Carnegie deli in the Mirage. My sister Kattie and I picked up my dad from the radiology place after he had his bone scan done. We were told that we could keep him for 4 hours before we brought him back to the rehab. Whenever I visit, he always wants me to take him to a deli. Well anyways - we went and I had chopped liver with two little halves of rye bread and a pickle. It was good.
So I woke up this morning and I was down 1.5 more pounds. I am very excited to say that makes 28 lbs altogether. I am starting to realize how much I ate before. I eat less than half now, plus no junk food. I also realized that I can take a tiny bite of something and not feel like I will never taste it again. My husband and I went to Sizzler last night because he wanted the steak and lobster. I have this app on my phone that comes in so handy for times like that, called Calorie Counter. You can look up lots of foods and restaurants too. I looked up the cheese toast and found out it had no sugar and very little carbs so I had about 3 bites.
Thanks for listening. Please leave comments.
My thought for today: It makes me feel so good when I read the comments left by my new friends. I feel like there are so many people just like me.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.
