Tuesday of week 9: Belly Fat Cure

Sometimes I think trying to loose weight is hard. I mean... like today I am having a litle bit of a hard and stressful day, and then I think........On top of it all I am trying to loose weight too!!!! I know one thing has nothing to do with the other but - I feel like its a job in itself sometimes. Trying to stay focused.

For any new people that might be reading this - I've been doing this for 2 months now and I lost most of the weight in the first 2 weeks. I feel awesome and healthy. Just don't expect to really loose 4-9 lbs a week every week like Jorge says in his book. Don't give up too early without giving it a chance. It takes this long to really develope a habbit and for your body to get use to this new way of eating.

Thanks to everyone who is reading this. Please leave comments.

My thought for today: Eat some clemmys ice cream after dinner tonight. We deserve a treat!

Keep on BFC ' n  : )

  2. I totally agree with you. It's very hard especially when you have so many other things going on and when you are thinking about losing weight all the time. It can get so frustrating. I'm kind of struggling and I fell off track for like one day, other than that I'm on my fourth week and trying to go strong still. Keep it up though it's so fun listening to your progress. It helps me out too. I don't have any other supporters :(

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
