No MORE!!!

Hello Friends,

Here I was sitting all by myself like I usually am, feeling kind of Blah and saw Richard Simmons on TV. He is such a REAL person. Even though he has lost the weight so long ago - he still is very emotional about being Fat and can relate to every overweight person. He just wants to spread the word about how to get healthy and really wants to help.

I realize that is exactly how I feel too. Even though it has been over 3 and 1/2 years since I started my journey, my mindset never changes. Like Richard said, he still feels like a fat person and so do I. I guess I always will, but the difference is I never have to look like that anymore.

I will never forget how it felt to be that size 20.
How bad I felt about myself. FAT - UGLY - HOPELESS...
How it felt to just give up completely on myself.
How I always deleted pictures of me or cropped them around my face.
How I said, I'm gonna eat what ever I want - whenever I want. Well - cause I just knew that NOTHING could ever help me.
How I actually stopped looking at myself in the mirror form the waist down - COMPLETELY.

That's why I was so shocked that just by changing what I eat every day - and that's ALL, that I was actually losing weight.

I am living proof that YOU TOO can actually lose weight just by eating healthy.

But you MUST...give it a chance, stick to it, and change your mindset about foods that you thought were healthy by actually are not.
We count Sugars and Carbs - and THAT'S IT!! Don't count calories. That is too confusing for the BFC and not necessary.

No more artificial sweeteners.
No more diet sodas or fruity-sweet drinks of any kind.
Learn how to just eat healthy all the time and not be on a DIET. Diets DON'T work.

It takes a minute for all this stuff to sink in - but if you let it - it WILL sink in and you will get it.
Just eat REAL food - that's it. No more processed crap that comes in boxes.

Eat REAL eggs - not that crap in containers. Real eggs ARE good for you.

Eat REAL butter and coconut oil - not margarine.

Eat healthy fats - like avocados and homemade nut butters.

You don't have to skip the REAL cheese, just limit your intake (1 portion at a time) - but eat some, it tastes good - right?

You don't have to skip the beef, just limit it. Try to eat more chicken, fish, turkey that are lower in fat.

Now here is the most important thing for you to know.....

You MUST do this for YOU and not for those who think you are not good enough the way you are.
This blog is a compilation of all the things I have learned along my journey - so I hope it helps you to get to where you want to be.

Have a great day. This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
