Chloe is here...

Good Morning Folks,

Well first with the best news. My daughter had her little 7lb 3oz angel Chloe yesterday morning at 4am.

Everything went well and they are both healthy and happy. I feel terrible that she is so far away and wish I was there. Well at least they are taking lots of pictures.

This morning it is a tiny bit drizzly. It will still be warm I think bet 85-90. I have gone from a sore through to coughing my brains out the past 3 days or so.

Tuesday the guy who got all the rocks actually came back with his daughter to get some more and pulled a bunch of weeds. There is just a little left now. I thought he wasn't coming back but he said " I said I would". They are very nice to do that in exchange for the rocks.
Look at that - how much better it looks without all the weeds. Yesterday I caught Mandy out there on her back doing a scratch dance in the dirt. LOL So I guess that means they like it better that way too.

**For anyone who is near me I am selling my Wii system for $350 for all that stuff which I think costed me $600-700. I am trying to get enough money to buy us a new BBQ. The sacrifices I make for the greater good.  I tell you.
Breakfast yesterday was the last cheesecake muffin with natures hollow, 1 alpine valley 12 grain toast with homemade almond butter, turkey bacon and berries.
Lunch was 2 of those spicy cauliflower-cheese pancakes with some scrambled eggs on top with black beans.
Snack was some Plantain chips I got in the bins at Sprouts for Hubby. I just put a small handful on a napkin. They do have a few carbs but no sugar like banana chips.

Went for a walk with the furry girls even though I have no more brains right now from coughing them all out.

Dinner was 6 wings and broccoli and a few brussel sprouts. Desert was 2 of those cookies I made last week and a little redi whip.

Hubby is working nights again for many nights in a row, so maybe I will get some sleep. LOL

Have a great day and BIG hugs to you all.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

I am so impressed that the guy pulled the weeds! It restores your Faith doesn't it? Will grass grow if you plant it? Everyone around here does the spray seeding?
    Have a great weekend!

That's wonderful that the guy came back and pulled the weeds. I was hoping that the 4th of July holiday had possibly just held him up.

    Feel better soon sweet Rosalie!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
