Good Day Friends,
Well for all you sports fans, today is the Super Bowl. I am not however but I do like to watch it for the commercials. Hubby is working day shift today at the F.D. and they are all bringing in stuff to eat. I bought some Hebrew National Hot dogs and Louisiana spicy Hot Links and buns for him to bring. Me being Jewish, I turned him on to Kosher hot dogs WAYYY a long time ago. Yes they are more expensive but worth it cause they taste TONS better.
My breakfast yesterday was toast with my home made peanut butter, avocado, eggs and berries.
I made a new batch of Peanut butter while I was making my breakfast. Zip-Zip, fast and easy. I roasted a cup of raw unsalted peanuts on a cookie sheet in the oven at 275 for 20 minutes-shaking every 5 minutes. Let cool then put in the food processor with about 7-8 drops of vanilla stevia and a tiny bit of almond oil. Grind-Grind-Grind...DONE! store in the fridge.
Maria and I went around window shopping at a few stores. I sold my dishes a little while back on Craigs-list for $180 and want to buy a new set when we move. So I was just trying to get ideas. I figure $180 is enough to get a nice set. Then we went to the cheap $5 theater at 12:30 to see that Zombie movie - Warm Bodies. It was cute and funny. I ate popcorn for my lunch and 2 squares of 86% chocolate and I snuck in a grape zevia.
After I had to go all the way back to the Microsoft store to get a refund on something in Orange county. That took a long time then to Pasadena to take Maria home. We stopped at Ralphs then a small little corner restaurant near their house. I got a burger wrapped in lettuce and had a few fries and a few fried zucchini.
Then I left on my way back to Rancho Cucamonga trying to get there before Hubby got off work and home by 7pm. A lot of driving and I was super tired and pretty stressed by the time I got there. I was trying to talk to my sister in Las Vegas on the blue-tooth in the car about a serious problem. Got nowhere. She won't listen.
So I was definitely ready for a protein bite and rediwhip desert then I tried to go to bed early cause I was falling asleep in the chair trying to watch TV with Hubby. I don't think I have slept well in 3 weeks and its catching up to me. I feel like I slept a little but I still toss and turn all night and my mind races and I have dreams and in some cases - Nightmares. Oh well, I'm sure it will ease off once we move. Still waiting for the short-sale
This is my new business card - Front and back. I just kept it simple - might add my picture at a later date.
Well have a nice day and remember to not eat too much Crap!!
This is PurpleRosy signing off...

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
I hope this helps.

I hear ya on the no sleep. It's been a tossy turny kind of weekend. My husband has a cracked and abscessed tooth so he was up on Fri night with that (and waiting to pickup daughter from her formal at KNotts Berry Farm at 1 a.m.) Last night he said his tooth was causing sinus probs....grrrr! He gets it fixed tomorrow. Anyhow, I hope you get to relax during the super bowl commercials and not drive anywhere!
