HI Friends,

I am at home by myself right now watching the Oscars and thought I would make a quick post.

The 2 things I made the past couple days were a big hit I must say.
Kale-chips I made yesterday were great and had to stop eating them to save half for hubby.

The Thin-mint Cookies I made the other day were awesome. I have them in the freezer so I won't eat them all at once. Yesterday after my 2 mile walk with the furry girls I ate one, then for some reason I was struggling REAL BAD not to go eat more. I usually have will-power of Steel. Yikes they are awesome!

My breakfast this morning was my favorite muffin made with;
1 tbsp ea. of coconut oil, coconut flour, almond flour flaxseed and chia seeds, 1/2t baking pwdr, 5 drops of vanilla stevia, 1 egg and a little unsweetened almond milk - few crushed up walnuts and a few blueberries...
cook in microwave in large mug for 2 minutes and serve with butter and Nature's Hollow Preserves.
 I really love the flavor of this one the way it tastes.

Hubby is working nights and last night I got woken up at 1:30 a.m. by peaches jumping on the bed and then realized it's so windy outside I feel like I'm going to land of Oz. Couldn't sleep- and watched tv for 3 hours.

He wanted to go to the movies so we went to see Snitch. It was real good and then of course HE wanted to sneek into another one - so we went into DARK SKIES. He was falling asleep and missed all the scary parts but left WAY early to go to work and I was alone.

All I can say is: HOLY - F**K*N - SH*T!!!! I left there with my mouth wide open and SO scared. I DO believe in Aliens and now will never sleep again. Like I ever do anyways. LOL
Maybe that's whats been bothering me over here and not the Invisibles....EEK

I got home just in time to watch the Oscars and made myself a salad to eat for dinner.
Tuna, mayo, avocado, tomato, bacon bits, goat cheese and spinach.

  2. I love scary movies but not when hubby is out of town! I may try that muffin made that way, but I have never purchased the drops? Are they good?

    1. I do love the Sweetleaf stevia drops. They come in different flavors and you can put it in anything - water too. Don't be scared of the price because 1 bottle lasts forever.

  3. Hey Girl! Great post as always. I could never see that alien movie. We just stayed in an old civil war era inn in Virginia for the weekend. It's supposed to have "friendly" ghosts!! Yikes!! Didn't see any, but still weird that people talk seeing them. Have a good one! XO

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
