First I just want to remind everyone that it's daylight savings time coming up on Saturday night, so don't forget to set your clocks back 1 hour before you go to bed if you live in one of those states that do.
I hate daylight savings time. Why do we have to do that anyway. I know-I know the farmers thingy. But It gets pitch black at 5pm - UGH!!
I started my day with a good breakfast as usual. I made eggs w/turkey sausage crumbles, baby spinach and tomato cut up with some goat cheese on top, and a few berries.
I Vacuumed and mopped the floorschanged the sheets and did 2 loads of laundry
Made an awesome lunch of a Zucchini Crust Pizza. I find the zucchini one is much easier to make and I can make for one person at a time.
I ate one of my chocolate that I made the other day with the coconut-pumpkin butter inside.
BTW both of the pumpkin butters I made the other day, the coconut-pumpkin and the almond pumpkin are both good, but they did get a bit hard when I put them in the fridge. Because of the coconut oil I put in them I guess. So you need to warm them for a few seconds in the microwave. All the other times I made nut butters I used Macadamia nut oil and it does not get hard. I think I like the Coconut-Pumpkin flavor the best.
I am SO BORED now!! I guess I will take the girls for a walk. It's a beautiful day around 72 today.
Just got back from a almost 2 mile walk. This another street we walk down a lot and you can't tell but the mountains are right there. It's kind of overcast or smoggy today. That's the way it is over here in southern California. Sometimes you can see them and sometimes you can't.
Dinner my favorite when I am all alone. A spinach salad w/blue cheese, bacon bits and some 1 gm of sugar cesar dressing and some tequila lime wings.
Right now I am watching Ghost adventures, trying to get some pointers. LOL
Have a nice night and great day tomorrow.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

Oh wise woman, you are so inspirational! I need to get some more wings at Costco so I can join you on wing nights. I love them too.
ReplyDeleteI like gaining the hour of time, but not the early darkness. I am not liking this cold dreary weather and it isn't even really bad yet:( Hopefully it will be light in the morning when I get the paper after Saturday.
Have a great weekend:)
I freaking love you! you are just soo good at this! It's just so crazy how good you are with this lifestyle.I struggle everyday..like today, but I will still keep trying. I need to work on the afternoon..when i just eat everything/
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kay and Ashlee you are wise and freakin'(I love that word!) awesome! The tips you gave a few days ago were a great help! I tried to stay true to them yesterday and I was back down 3lbs.! The zucchini pizza crust is our MOST favorite! I made meatball pizza's last night...freakin' amazing! The wings look wonderful, my husband loves wings. Did you make those or did you buy them ready to eat? As always, grateful for all you do! You rock!
ReplyDeleteHI Francie and thanks for the nice comments. The wings are Tyson in a big bag I get at Sams Club. They are not breaded -- just flavor and come in buffalo and Teuilla Lime. I just put them under the broiler on non-stick foil until 1 side gets all brown - then flip. Those above got kind of black but I don't care - still good!
DeleteI don't like Fall Back because it always means I have to get up way earlier than I want to, although the boys are finally leaving me alone when they wake up, so maybe I'll let them all sleep downstairs tonight and tell them to stay downstairs when they wake up and not wake me up, lol. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI don't like changing the clocks twice a year either! I REALLY hated it when my kids were young and it threw off their sleep schedules. However, it will be nice to get up with a little light for a change, but I will miss that light in the late afternoons. Never tried the zucchini pizza crust. Will have to put that on my "to try" list. I love the cauliflower crust but sometimes it seems to be so much work.
ReplyDeleteYou should try living in the Great White North! It's dark when we get up and dark when we come home. Brrrrr ....... already counting the days until Spring :)
ReplyDeleteSome day I am going to get the ambition and make a zucchini based pizza crust...
