Today is Friday????

Good Morning Friends,

How is everyone today? I woke up this morning and was wondering why some people said on FaceBook that today is Friday?? Then I realized - Duh...it is.. LOL I thought it was still thursday. That's what happens when you are at home a lot by yourself. Hubby is working some OT this week so there you go.
I get to meet my very good friend Mayra this weekend. We met online doing the BFC and I feel like we are best friends. We talk on the phone and online every day and have not even seen each other in person yet. Can't wait.
Remember my breakfast yesterday was the other 3 pumpkin pancakes.
 My lunch yesterday was a PB&J made with 2 oasis bread, natures hollow raspberry jam and my homemade almond butter, and some sauted spinach w/garlic and EVOO.
 So it finally started raining, well actually pouring yesterday. Mandy my bigger dog, the block one always gets super scared when ever there is any noises, like THUNDER. OMG!! She starts panting and pacing back and forth like a lion and keeps trying to hide behind everything and was almost knocking everything over and I was getting pissed.
Then the nervousness gets transferred to poor Peaches. She jumped up in my lap shaking so bad for hours.
Then there is Olive the RAT. She didn't understand what the hell was wrong with Mandy and Peaches at all.
 As you can see they are all 3 recovering from yesterday's rain storm, Peaches is hiding under the TV and Mandy is just plain exhausted from her pacing and olive just likes to lay with her. That's her big buddy

Snack was a pumpkin muffin.

We tried to have the conference call. Thanks ladies that participated. But the videos went in and out and sound didn't work on one. I think we all need to have a SUPER Strong internet signal for this to work, so if anyone has a better idea of something they have already used for this type of thing to work - let me know and we will shoot for it again the beginning of next week.

I watched the debate; What the Heck!!! I am not either Dem or Rep so I just vote for who ever I like, but Obiden was being just completely RUDE laughing at Ryan like that the whole time. It is inexcusable to make fun of someone on TV like that!! Just my opinion of course.

Dinner was a spinach salad and wings. Someone help me I am addicted to the wings..........

Desert was 2 protein bites and some rediwhip in a bowl.
My delicious breakfast this morning was 1 pumpkin and 1 chocolate cheesecake muffin, and a baby spinach and cheese omelet, avocado and berries.

Remember to make good food decisions this weekend no matter where you wind up.
And most of all - Remember - WWRD??

  1. I eat the same exact things over and over too. If you love wings, it makes it easy to be excited about dinner!
    I think Biden was absolutely disgusting. But then quite frankly so is 16 Trillion in debt laid on top of the heads of my grandchildren. And that is my political rant for the day! There are no golden money trees as we all know.

  3. Sorry that oovoo didn't work, I had tried it internationally and it didn't work too well but I was hoping it would work better if we were all in the same country. Another idea is skype video conferencing, you can trial it for 7 days and then its about $10 a month or $48 per year so kinda a lot. But there has to be other ways to do group conference calls or live chats. I made the chocolate mini cheesecakes and they were amazing. I didn't have almonds so used walnuts and pecans. Also didn't use flax and it was totally awesome.

  4. Just wanted to thank you for doing the conference call! It was great to hear your suggestions and reinforce the rules for the eating plan. I am getting ready to make some of the pumpkin and cheese cake muffins to remedy the sweet tooth:) They sound awesome! Also plan on trying egg substitute this weekend ... lets cross our fingers that it works! I love omelets but they don't love me:(

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
