Yeah I have been feeling kind of bad, but its time to stop. We have to figure out what we're gonna do now. We can't stay here that much longer and it looks like the other house is a bust for the FHA loan. FHA is only 3.5% down and conventional is 20%. If any of you live in California you know how expensive it costs to live here. So 20% is a ton.
Hubby keeps saying how sorry he is that he could not make it work. I guess he feels like it's his fault, but it's not. Maybe if I was working it might have helped. Who knows - we have to move on now.
Tomorrow will be a New Day...
So Saturday (yesterday) I took the girls to a new groomer.

Made a batch of my Grain Free Brownies |
I cut the pan into 12 pcs and had to eat one cause it was ugly. LOL
dinner was wings and a broccoli and 5 brussel sprouts. and a protein bite and rediwhip for desert.
Breakfast this morning was a little bit of cottage cheese and a few blueberries, turkey bacon and 2 poached eggs.I went on a returning spree. Sams Club to return 2 things that hubby got and never used. It was almost $20 and got some chicken and raspberries and blueberries instead.
Went next door to Wal-Mart and returned a hose I got for the leaky toilet cause it said standard and wasn't and 2 bags of Ghirardeli chocolates to exchange for Lindt 85% instead. I wasted almost a whole bag of the other stuff cause it was hard and stale. I usually get that kind cause it easier to put in my purse. Oh well.
I got home around 12:45 and I was HUNGRY! I made a zucchini pizza and had a orange Zevia.
OK so those brownies were just taunting me from the fridge even though they were competing with the cheesecake muffins right next to them - but the brownies WON!!
This was Chocolate-Nutty Heaven right here!
My snack; a brownie w/some of my homemade almond butter on top. |
Thanks you all for listening to me whine and go on and on lately. I know some of you wonder how I always do it?? How come I never give in and just cheat when I feel bad like lately??
Well for one thing I gave away all my fat clothes remember?? If I gained any weight back I would have to go buy more and I can't have that.
No - really, I am so thrilled that I actually was able to lose 90 lbs at my age and there is nothing in this World that can make me veer off this path and gain it back - NOTHING!!
This is a Lifetime Commitment and I know that now.. So get Serious and jump in and make the commitment too...
How much weight have you lost doing the BFC so far?? EVERYONE - Comment and tell us and I will pick the one with the most to do a guest blog so you can tell all of us how YOU did it too!!
Thanks for listening.. Big Hugs for you all..
This is PurpleRosy singing off...
My thought for the day:
I'm sorry. I don't mind you venting at all. I can only imagine how stressful the whole situation has been.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs look so good after their grooming.
Dogs look adorable! As you know, I'm a little more fast track than regular BFC but I've lost 38.5 pounds so far. My goal is to lose another 40 or 50 pounds. Wow! You lost 90 so I KNOW I can do it ;)
ReplyDeleteooh, great, a contest! I won't win, b/c I only lost 18 on the BFC, and now I'm only at 8. LOL But I have to weigh in anyways. good luck to all!
ReplyDeleteI am still sitting at 26.6 and holding :-) sorry about the loan...I know its been a long stressful time for you.
ReplyDeleteI have lost 44lbs since April 1st following the original bfc. It's the best diet ever! Correction the best lifestyle ever.
ReplyDeleteI have lost 41 pounds since Feb. 1, 2012 following the BFC. I will never go back to my old ways of eating.
ReplyDeleteDown 32 before I gained 7! I guess that makes me an even 25! Dang!!! The BFC rocks, when I do it!!!
ReplyDeleteI have lost 12 pounds in one month! It was easy to do but now I have stayed the same for one week. Not giving up!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about the housing issue...but know you are not alone my friend! I know coming from the outside in, it doesn't make it any easier. But, we need you here! And appreciate you!!! Love the doggies new do's even R.S. hehe.
ReplyDeleteSince 2/8/12...I have losted 30#s and hubby has lost 70#s. I still have 50#s to go and hubby has another 70#s. I get really discouraged while he is able to graze and splurge and I'm not. So...I will kick in aerobics this week.
I wanted to share this AWEsome recipe! Keep in mind...I cannot do chili/spicy food. I refuse to be hurt by my food. So, I tweaked this a bit. I did not use the chile flakes, and i didn't have sesame oil for the day so I just used canola oil and Hubby LOVED it. I thought for sure he would have major issues!

Hi Rosalie,
I am sorry the loan fell through. That *is* disappointing, and I am proud of you for making a decision to move forward positively.
I am down 53 pounds, following the BFC mostly - with the modifications required by my doctor.
Hang in there. We both know life can be pretty rough sometimes, but things usually get better eventually.
