Still Unpacking...

Hello Friends,

It is a never ending job unpacking and trying to put together a house all by your self. I am trying to do as much as I can every day. The weather has been around 100 every day.

The 3rd bedroom is so small we are going to use it for a office. But it's weird anyway cause it has 2 french doors leading out to the side of the house, and there is no back door. See

Notice it has a small doggie door? 2 days ago I got my anti-bacterial wipes and took the cover off and scrubbed it as good as I could and showed it to Mandy and Peaches. At the other house there was one on the garage door and I showed them how to use it and they picked it up easy. I never left it open though cause it was SOOO HOT in the garage I thought they would get sick or something.

Peaches fit thru it no problem, Mandy stuck her head thru and couldn't fit. She is so smart she backed up and wiggled a certain way and figured out how to get thru. But the Rat - won't - she is just too stupid. I've been trying non stop and NOPE. But at least m 2 girls LOVE it!!

I've been trying to eat what ever I have at home, so yesterday I made some of my pancakes and had 3 for today.
Lunch yesterday looks weird but tasted good. It was about 1/2 c of low fat re-fried beans, broccoli, turkey sausage crumbles and jalapenos and some grated parmesan cheese on top.
 Snack was some veggie straws
Dinner was just a spinach salad and 2 protein bites for desert.
Breakfast this morning the other 3 pancakes, avocado, and berries.
Lunch a Carb Chopper wheat tortilla w, cheese, a couple spoons of the re-fried beans, 2 turkey bacons cooked well done and of course jalapenos.

Snack was some veggie straws.
Dinner tonight was a salmon patty, 1/4 of a tomato cut up and some spinach with a 1 gm of sugar dressing.

I have been trying to walk in the evenings with the dogs at our new home. The other day I walked outside the gate, then 1 day I walked all around inside here, then I don't know if you saw my post on Facebook yesterday - but we went outside the gate and were almost home and 2 giant wolf-looking dogs came charging at us in a full blown run. They were at least 80lbs each. I kept trying to not let them eat poor olive and was trying to get all the dogs not to fight. Two boys came running and I yelled  " Get these 2 DAMN dogs! and where are their collars? NOT COOL GUYS!!"

I was still shaking for at least an hour after, but we were all fine physically. SO today we just stayed inside the gate then wound up outside but did not go that way again.
Yesterday was a work out for sure. While hubby was at work, I decided to put together our shed by myself. Then I loaded all the junk that was laying all around outside and cleaned everything up so he wouldn't have to. Some of that stuff was very heavy. I am getting big muscles now. HA-ha

I am still not sleeping well at all, but not as stressed. We are done at the other house but Hubby is holding on to a lot of anger. We lost a lot of money and he just won't let it go. I on the other hand am trying to appreciate what I do have and I even like it here. The house is very small but I don't mind at all. Life goes on no matter what.

Thanks for listening to me today. Big Hugs.

My thought for the day:

Live and Love the Moment

Live and Love the Moment Positive QuoteLove the moment. Flowers grow out of dark moments. Therefore, each moment is vital. It affects the whole. Life is a succession of such moments and to live each, is to succeed.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

Thanks for the Bday wishes :-)

  4. I think those French doors are nice too! I've been thinking of putting in a doggie door, would you recommend them? Sounds like life is settling down just a bit for you and I'm glad. You are one hard worker!

  5. Love the doors too ;) You do sound like you're some what at peace with where things are. I like to think better things are around the corner (even though we can't see it). You are a real trooper - I have never been good at moving. I always end up crying - sitting in a ball somewhere (even when I’m happy about the move) … weird :)

  6. The place looks really nice - I love the doors. Moving is SO stressful. Remember to take sometime for yourself and its not a race. Its okay to take awhile to get it all unpacked. Post more photos of the new place.

  8. I am so impressed with how you have handled this whole big giant stress ball! You came out of it sane, and you didn't let it stop you. So you live in a gated community?
You are a hard worker and I could definitely use some lessons!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
