Something better around the next corner...

Hi Friends,

On my last post I asked how much weight you have all lost on the BFC. You have all done so well in your weight loss. I am so glad that we all have found a way of eating that we can help us stay healthy and we can do forever!
Trina - 38.5 lbs
Dawn - 18 lbs
Sandra - 26.6 lbs
LA Sitzman - 44 lbs
Lisa C - 41 lbs
Kay - 32 lbs
Debb - 12 lbs
Melody - 30lbs - her hubby - 70 lbs
Alaiyo - 53 lbs

Congratulations to all of you for doing such a great job so far.

Well Melody's Hubby is the highest so ask him if he is willing to do a guest post??

But Alaiyo and LA are the highest from our group I would love to invite both of you to do a guest post and tell everyone about your weight loss journey and how you did it and what you goals are, and before and current pictures of course. Email me. :-)

Well Sunday I was OK but yesterday I spent a lot of it being devastated crying a lot and very upset. We found out it was something our loan girl did wrong that kicked it back. So today - pick ourselves up and go on. The builder has been keeping in contact with us about the situation and is even willing to work with us if we want to pay $20,000 more dollars - they will hold it for us until November when we can actually do a conventional loan. I don't think we will do that though.

What is happening is what is meant to be - right?? There has to be something better around the next corner.

So as you know Hubby and I have Real Estate license's and I just renewed mine. He is as we speak out taking the Loan license exam. There are 2 1 at 8am and 1 at 10am. Local and National. He has been studying for 2 months. He wants to start doing loans and you have to have a R.E. license first before you can get the loan license. Wish him luck...

We went to the local association of Realtors and signed up for MLS access and got a supra key so we can access properties. I was so PISSED at how much it cost on top of everything else going on. $256 just for a year for the Supra key (that opens the lock boxes at the houses). Then I have no idea how much for the MLS online access. She said the system was down and would call with the price but set him up ahead of time so we could start looking for a new house to live. Maybe another 300-400 smackers IDK. The good thing is that we are married I can use his access (which you are really not supposed to do). Each Realtor has to pay for their own.

So a Hunting we shall go - again. I hope the owner of this house does not kick us out.
Breakfast yesterday; the last 2 slices of Oasis toast w/butter and homemade almond butter on 1 and the last of the chocolate-hazelnut on the other, turkey bacon, 2 poached eggs and berries.
I made some more hazelnut butter this time Pumpkin Pie.
Lunch I saw on a site that he made noodles out of a cucumber and put lemon and cumin on top and I added  some feta cheese.
Then I had a turkey patty cut up and 1/2 c of brown rice with a 1/4 avocado and a spoon of ricotta cheese smashed up in it. I also had 1 chocolaty treat after.

Around 3pm we decided to go to the board of realtors and I took along on napkins for each of us a cheesecake muffin w/Natures Hollow on top and a bottle of water for the car ride.

We took the Supra key and stopped to look at 2 houses on the way home and then stopped at P.F. Changs for dinner. I haven't been there since before the BFC. Most of their stuff has tons of sweet sauces on top.

So I got this chicken with broccoli and snow peas and a garlicy sauce. I ate a little over half. I could of had brown rice - but as you know I never have carbs with my dinner - so I passed.
When We got home it was around 8pm and Hubby and I took te dogs for a 1.25 mile walk and came home and had my desert.
Rediwhip in a bowl with one of my grain free brownies crumbled up on top. It was soooo GOOD that hubby asked me to fix him 1 after I ate mine.

The weather is supposed to only be 92 today, so have a good one.

This is PurpleRosy signing off...

My thought for the day:

Move Into the Present

Move into the PresentSet yourself free from the past, bring peace into your life, and move into the present by letting go of your anger and bitterness.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

MLS access here is $1800 annually and I am looking a $3000 bill to renew my real estate license with courses upgrades and board fees which is done every 2 years.

  8. MELODY,
SS, I tried to reply under your response but nothing happened. I followed the Fast Track menu exactly as it is written for the 2 weeks. I am going to repeat it again, since it seems to be working for me. If you need the menus you can email me at GIJillie@yahoo.com and I will be happy to send them to you, and anyone else as well. Hang in there!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
