Preparing for???

Hello Friends,

Well today is Tuesday and we still have not heard about the loan. Yesterday she said it was in audit. I told hubby that does not sound good. We are preparing ourselves for the worst today. That means we will have to find a place to rent. That's OK for me. I grew up poor and appreciate everything I have, so anything will be fine for me as long as the 4 of us are together. Hubby and my 2 furry girls. I can't live without them - EVER!!

Its very HOT over here - over 100 every day. So my walks have been kind of short the past few days 1.3 miles. The stress is gotten to me so bad and I think I am at my limit. But I'm sure that I might have some wiggle room before I go totally WACKO!! My weight is still up bet. 151-153 which makes me feel even worse.

Breakfast yesterday was, 2 Oasis toast w/butter and smashed avocado and a bit of salt on top, 2 eggs and a few berries.
Lunch was tuna, mayo, 1/2 avocado and celery cut up, feta cheese, bacon bits and croutons.
 Snack was a Protein bite with peanut butter on top - OMG YUM!! Hubby's Idea.

Dinner for me and hubby was sauted zucchini in EVOO and blackened salmon.
 desert was a brownie muffin and rediwhip.
I made a batch of Homemade Almond milk - this is how much 1 batch made after you strain it and take out all the leftover pulp.
Well I hope you all have a good day. Don't drink a ton of bad stuff today just because it's so hot. WATER-WATER-WATER!

  1. Bummer! Your attitude is great, you have your health and that's priceless. I made your coconut muffin today but added a scoop of protein powder, left out the oil, and added more almond milk. It is great and about twice the size of a regular mug muffin for same calories. I prefer the fat just on top of the cooked muffin, it slides out of mug fine without it. Thanks for the recipe.

  2. Wow I feel for you. It is stress plus. My weight is up. Out of work with a broken wrist two maybe thre surgies in the next three weeks. Stress and breaking rulesno lies or excuses. I will do my best the next month to stay the course. Did i mention the med i am on 4 x a day....main side effect weight gain. I get confused between BFC and health living how to Vanessa and marianutritious . Still can not find coconut flour any where or your bread.
    all that said.....Thanks so much to all of you I am learning and it can only get better.

  3. You're probably sick of people telling you to be strong. I am really sorry for what you're going through. I can relate to an extent (especially on the waiting part) and it is very stressful, that is when I started gaining my weight.

  4. 1.3 miles is a short walk?? Yikes! Renting has it's good points - no maintenance or repairs! Hope you can find something the four of you will love!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
