My weekend...

Hello Everyone,

Well I hope everyone is off doing something summery fun, cause I don't see very much activity on our blogs lately.

Yesterday after my  breakfast of Pumpkin Pancakes

we waited for a Realtor that the owner sent over to show the house to someone.
Then I fixed a quick lunch to go so I could eat it in the car. I had 1 carb chopper wheat tortilla left, popped it in the toaster oven to warm it up, put a spoon of pasta sauce on top, mozzarella cheese, some turkey pepperonis and then put back under the broiler till cooked and folded in half. quick and easy lunch to go.

We left to go up to Hubby's mom's house and stopped at the store on the way to get some meat and stuff for the BBQ. Hubby was the grill master for the day. You know Firemen are the best BBQ 'rs.
This was all the food - The mac-n-cheese, beans, and corn - I don't ever eat. I always have them make me some meat with out sauce - that's the far right pan. So I just ate some meat and salad and I had some Cabernet Savingnon.

His other brother, nephew and our little movie star - home for 1 more week then back to Ga-Ga world.

The 3 of us being silly and oh yeah that's Olive she has had her for the past few days and she her brought over and she was happy to see Hubby and me

It was a nice time and good to the out of the house.

Today - Sunday;
My other 3 pumpkin pancakes and 2 poached eggs.

We left to go run some errands then I was hungry so we went to a Carl's Jr and I had a $6 jalapeno burger wrapped in lettuce - I love those good and spicy. I also had about 10 of hubby's fries.

I don't know about you - but I am so used to eating at home all the time and when I eat out like I have been doing the past couple days - it throws my system off I think. I feel more bloated and seem to not be as regular and always gain a couple lbs.

I know it might have to do with not sleeping well - hormones and the house stuff. Hopefully it will be over soon.

We decided to go look at a new couch again since we sold ours cause it was too big for the new house remember - which now we were thinking since it took so long maybe we should have waited. Oh well. We went to 3 different furniture stores and couldn't find anything that popped out so we just went home and stopped at Sams club on the way so I could get my berries for tomorrow. Got some raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and avocados. Yeah my favorites.

I got a busy day tomorrow -f mowing and weedeating front and back grass - and maybe some packing and I still have that last test to take in the next few days. I want to get it done before we move or I am afraid I won't have time for a while and might forget what I have learned so far.You all know I got Middle-Heimers LOL.

I'm gonna go have some protein bites and rediwhip now - :-)

  2. Looks like you had a great weekend! We had the color run in Indianapolis this weekend and it was fun! I ran/walked with the kids and my husband ran it. Really was a blast.   4. Great weekend! I'd like to be added to the weight goal list. Current weight 159.2 goal weight 140
    I actually started the belly Fat Cure 2 summers ago w/ my mom & had wonderful results.Over time I would fall off the program, gain a few lbs back & jump back on.After being a stay @ home mom for 8yrs I have returned back to work & the snacking has been out of control! I started to justice my busy week & lack of sleep w/ over eating , mostly sugary treats. So I have gained back more lbs than I would like. It's time for me to take control & get back on track & stay on track for the long haul.-Kristine

  5. Eating out always makes me temporarily gain weight, even though I make healthy choices. I think it's just extra salt and probably more calories then we estimate. It will come right off. :) Have a great monday!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
