A Day Off today...

Hello Friends,

I decided to take a break today from the 3 days of learning and studying and went to visit Maria and Lisa.
Breakfast first of course.
My favorite - peanut butter toast on my Oasis bread w/2 poached eggs and some black and raspberries.

I went to Pasadena to visit with the ladies. Lisa left to go do our work out and I hung with Maria. I ate 1 turkey meatball that Maria made the night before and a celery stick with a bit of peanut butter on top. When Lisa got back we went to Santa Anita Mall and walked around and they shopped. I refrained, I figured if I actually bought something - that will be more crap for me to move when everything is finally done. LOL

I got real hungry around 3 ish and Lisa is SOOOO picky and did not want to eat in the food court so we went to Cheesecake Factory. I ate a few bites of bread, and a salad with that mixed good kind of lettuce, seared Ahi tuna (MMM good) and 1 slice of a tomato and just a bit of cesar dressing drizzled on the lettuce.

While walking back towards our cars wound up at several more stores and I wound up leaving there to go home at 5:30pm. Stuck in Mega Traffic and our loan person calls. Says she needs 2 more things and she is gonna give the file to the underwriter tomorrow. Fingies crossed - cause this will be the last time for us I have a feeling.

I came home and sent the stuff via email to her and took my 2 girls for a 2.3 mile walk. No R.S. for a while. And I just finished eating a Pumpkin Muffin. I just ate it warm out of the bowl and it was so fluffy and delicious.

A Yummy end to a nice day.

BTW -  I finished my #4 yesterday. Boy was it hard. I was panicked because I was running out of time and just knew I missed several questions. They were very confusing the way they were worded. I kept seeing the countdown clock in the right corner. I was shaking - the dogs kept bothering me and I kept yelling at them to go away - my ET's were real bad - then the clock stopped and it said they were just going to calculate how I did - I held my breath and just knew I failed - you need at least 70% to pass - then the computer said - Congratulations you passed with 75%. Holy CRAP!! Just the 1 left now that I have to re-do.

Do Your Best

Don’t be afraid to give your best to what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
