Today was another beautiful weather day over here in Southern California. I'm not trying to rub it in or anything - just sayin. Come Visit!
Breakfast this morning:
I made a Flaxseed-lemon-chia muffin w/cream cheese and natures hollow and turkey bacon.
Then Hubby and I had to go to Pasadena back to our tax guy again. By the time we left it was 2:30 ish. I ate a think thin bit bar while I was there from my purse cause you know how I get hungry when I miss my meals - not a pretty site..
Remember to keep snacks and water with you when you leave the house - that way it will keep you from being tempted to cheat.
We went to visit Maria and Lisa for a few minutes - they live just up the street a ways from there.
We talked them into going to eat lunch with us to Islands (a burger place). I ate a cesar chicken salad about 2/3 and gave 1/3 to maria and I ate about 12-15 fries, they were skinny.
Oh I forgot to say we stopped at Whole Foods in Pasadena on the way home and guess what I got?? YUP - some Josephs Sugar free syrup - Whoop-Whoop. Pancakes in the morning.
By the time we got back home it was 5pm and my fuzzy girls and I went for our 2.5 mile walk. Boy sometimes they are so excited and since we do it every day they are used to it and go very fast with me. I am very proud of them. The way I go is kind of rural and we always see lots of critters, like bunnys, birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and tons of bugs. They are always going - Ooh whats that - oh whats that. We always have fun and feel great by the time I get home.
So now its 6:30 and I think I will go have a spinach salad or veggies.
Have a great day or night what ever time it is now when you are reading this. And please don't forget to visit my friends blogs on the list below. Support is one of the main ways we will all succeed.
Thanks for listening and big hugs.
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:
Conscious Choice
Happiness is a conscious choice, not an automatic response.
Keep on BFC ' n :-)

I need to do better about getting a snack in my purse before I take off. I go from fine to STARVING in like 3 minutes, lol!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great day!
(((hugs)))
Last week I made the one minute muffin every morning before work. This morning I had everything mixed in the cup, and I went through my cupboards for well over 15 minutes looking for that darn baking powder! Since I couldn't find the small can anywhere, I baked it in the microwave for a minute and a half anyways, and to my surprise it almost came out the same! It's great with blueberrys! My first week back on plan and I lost 2.5 lb. Starting from scratch! One should never give up, and throw all caution to the wind! It took too long to do get my groove back, and start this again for the second time around!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Kasey - Just keep it up and stick with it and you will reach your goal in no time :-)
DeleteI just stocked up on Josephs Sugar free syrup at my local "Big Lots" store. Now you can try the flaxseed muffin with the syrup and walnuts. It tastes a lot like you sinful cinnamon cakes!
ReplyDeleteThanks Beth - I will try that in he morning.
DeleteI love Islands...and those muffins. What a genius of an idea, huh! I'm going to get some cream cheese-yours looks great.
ReplyDeleteIt's a smart tip to have snacks with you-a good reminder that I need to restock my car/purse.
Enjoy your glorious day in the CA sun :)
Always thinking Rosalie. I need to remember my snacks, so I don't get stuck at my brothers with nothing to eat.Well there is lots to eat...nothing I can have!! Hugs and love as always!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sun! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rosalie! and others! I've been doing the BFC for about 2 weeks now. I Saw Jorge on Dr. Oz then I did some researching on the internet before buying the blue book. I found Amber's blog first then yours. I did get the blue book and have been catching up on your blog. I wanted to read all the posts before jumping in here! It was very exciting following your journey. And I knew I really liked you but now I know why- you and my sister share the same B-day( she passed away in '98 of a brain tumor) You both share the same straight forward way of talking.
ReplyDeleteAnyway! I started at 171 and would love to get down to 125-130. I currently weigh 165. I really like eating this way and don't ever feel hungry. Before I started eating this way I too felt like I needed to look at WHY I was eating and you are so right our emotions really play a big part!
I'm not going to blog on my own but I do want to join your group!!!
I totally think you're awesome by the way!!!
I'm Susie
SW 171 Current weight 165 gw 125
Hi Susie, welcome. I am sorry about your sister and I feel honored to share her birthday and hope I can put a smile on your face.
ReplyDeleteIn 2 weeks you lost 6lbs - that's Fantastic! I am proud of you. Keep it up and you be at your goal very soon. You must be a shorty too?? cause 125 is small.
Have a great day :-)
