Hello Friends,

I will start out with what I ate yesterday.
breakfast; 6/1
I made another flax minute muffin w/peanut butter and cocoa and put Natures Hollow on top (raspberry is my absolute flavor), eggs, 1/2 avocado and some berries.

I want you to know I never not have eaten that many berries 6 blackberries and about 8 blueberries, while I was losing weight. I only ate a few with my breakfast every day and I never ate blueberries until I was at my goal weight. They have more sugar in them than black and raspberries.

lunch; we went to the movies so I made some turkey rolled up w/cheese in the middle in my purse, 2 of them. I also ate popcorn w/o butter of course. We saw Safe House with Denzel - he's a great actor.

It was so sad about Whitney huh? It just shows that when we allow ourselves to get so out of control, anything could happen - no matter how rich and famous we are. Very sad - she Had a beautiful voice.

We got home around 5:30 ish. I was a bit hungry even after all that popcorn so for dinner I ate:
It is tuna, mayo, feta cheese, bacon bits, celery, 1/2 zucchini and some green olives with the jalapeno inside cut up.

Yesterday I was so shaky in the morning form my ET's I just wanted to yell and cry. I can't explain it - it's a weird feeling inside. I think it is worse in the mornings. On top of that I should have gotten my monthly yesterday and now that I am 53, I just feel plain bad in the tummy the day or 2 before - then once I start I am fine.

Well I at least have the day to myself today cause Hubby is working days.

OK - so I have a confession to make now so don't be mad...

The product called Reslina that I have been taking for almost a year now (the picture on the top left), is my hubby's product that he had made. Nutritional Earth is his corp and website. When he started this - I told him that I did not want anyone to know cause I never wanted you all to think I was just trying to push it on you. It actually is a great product made with the best resveratrol and spirulna and I that's why I get coupons and post them on here.

He thinks that's why I have lost more weight too, but I don't know for sure - just that it makes me feel great.

  5. Dr Oz, or maybe it was the Doctors show, just said last week that spirulina was one of the best foods you can have. I know I should try it, but I take soooo many supplements and prescription meds that I just can't afford it now. BTW, Do you notice if your ET's get worse around your monthly? Just curious because I get really clumsy and drop things around mine and I just read Dr. Christiane Northrups book where she said that was normal.

  7. Have you or anyone else noticed any increase in your cholestral since starting this diet? My LDL is a little high, triglicerydes are normal, and HDL is great. But, my eye Dr. showed me pictures of the inside of my eyes and they have lots of little cholestral spots in them. I have started watching the fats more and eating egg whites instead of whole eggs. There are so many conflicting opinions on this and you just don't know what to believe. Both of my parents have heart trouble so it could be a hereditary thing. Just want to know the truth. (forgive the spelling)

    Also, in response to the person who commented previously (Anon) since losing weight my cholesterol and tryglicerides went from sky high to normal. I eat a lot of good fat, especially coconut oil. I eat no grains. When I ate grains or sugar on any kind, it had an effect on those blood levels. That is my experience. Ins't it interesting how we are all so unique.

Hi Rosy, I would love to try the Reslina too!...I am Canadian, I am doing the BFC Canadian Style..I subscribe to you on FB but I don't know if I am one of the 20...Do you know if its available in Canada? Can you change my weight to 241 lbs reduced 5.5 lbs yeah! I say reduced or reshaped instead of lost because I am really good at finding lost things :-) ...I don't want to find them again LOL Thanks

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
