A lot of Errands yesterday..

Hello Friends,

I feel so pissed right now. The dogs started barking because they heard a noise outside, so I just opened the door and Mandy the black dog ran out the door at these 2 ladies walking their dog across the street. They are new in the neighborhood and obviously stupid and don't even know how to handle a dog. Their dog is very mean and not friendly at all. So that dog barked first and then of course Mandy did back and wouldn't listen to me. They were screaming STUPIDLY. Is that a word? Anyone who has a dog should know not to do that cause it makes it worse.

The ladies are screaming and saying Mandy is attacking their VISCOUS mean dog. Well anyway I got Mandy back in the house and put her in the back yard and told her I am tired of her embarrassing me. Yeah they understand english.. Well I'm trying to calm down right now.

Then this morning I got an email from Oliver in Jorge's office saying that Health Magazine wants to do a story on some success stories an they want me to be in it. So I take an hour to fill out this questionnaire and am getting ready to email it back with my before and after pictures and I get another email saying that since I was in his last book I can't be in the magazine. Well shouldn't they know that stuff already. So I was like - Woo Hoo - Then Whatever...

I have the recipe page above that I put on here just to share with others the great BFC friendly stuff I find on other websites or blogs. Not in any way to take any credit for anything. A little while ago I tried to consolidate them better and make my page more printer friendly. By doing that some of the referring links to where I got the recipes got left off somehow. If I have offended anyone by not mentioning them I am sorry and just let me know which recipe was yours so I can put your link back under it.

We are all a great little blogging community and are here to help and give each other support and any great tips we find along the way. If you don't tell me right away I am being stupid or said something wrong - how will I know??? I mean well - that's all I have to say about that.

Here's what I are yesterday (Monday);
2 scrambled eggs w/sauted baby spinach and turkey bacon, and a whole grain tortilla w/cheese.

The new cup is working great with my ET's BTW.

I had a bunch of errands to run and left the house at 12:30 ish.
Bank > then got gas at Sam's Club gas station
then to one of my favorite lunch places;
Chipotle for a salad. w/lettuce, black beans, spicy beef, spicy salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole.

then; Best buy. I wanted to see how much a Dyson portable vacuum was for the downstairs. Uh $299. not today, Then nest door to Bed Bath and Beyond to see if they were cheaper, nope.
Then I went to Cost Plus and bought some really cool wines (I will let you know if I like them as I taste them) and some tea.
decaf and quite tasty.
then next door to Ulta for some girly stuff.
Then Sams Club for the big stuff.
Next door to Wal-Mart for the little stuff.
Then to Sprouts for the healthy stuff. I ate 2 squares of 86% chocolate (that I got at Wal-Mart) in the parking lot before going in. I needed a snack. It was 4:30 by then.
Finally got home at 5:30 and had to put everything away myself cause hubby was working the night shift.

a piece of fish w/butter, lemon juice and sea salt and pepper and asparagus
desert; 1 cinnamon cake and pumpkin muffin that was the last 2 left..

  4. wow, you are so busy today! I looked at your recipe page today, and I think it looks nice. It is nice that you try to have the links to the websites where you found the recipes. I *think* I remember you got the veggie/cheese crackers from yourlighterside.com- she's got lots of nice low carb recipes that we can use with BFC. And I love the progress tab you made - very neat to include people without blogs! I didn't give you pix because I didn't lose most of my weight with BFC. Have a good night.

  5. Hahaha oh people can be silly. So what if you forget to mention their name under recipes! We all have at one point made a great recipe that we learned from our parents parents friends of friends etc, but we dont go out telling our friends oh by the way this recipe, i got it from my mom, and at lunch time "oh by the way this recipe i got it from online , "oh by the way, I got tihs dinner recipe from this one girl"... No, that's not necessary. People are silly! Good job :P

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
