I am so happy and proud to call you all my friends. I feel lucky that I have (cyber) met you all. I know that one of the main reasons of my success is all the SUPPORT. I have learned over the past 1 year and 11 months that is SO important.
There has been may times where I say to myself " I'm gonna stop blogging so much, but then you all come on here and leave such nice comments - I feel it is my duty now to share with anyone who will listen that;
I AM A BIG FAT LOOSER!!! haha
Any help that I can give to help others be a Big Fat Looser too is my privilege.
Something I have realized is that once you reach your goal weight - Don't think, in any way, that you can go back to the way you ate before. As soon as you eat anything non-BFC, you will gain weight back.
I know - I know, that sounds scary, but when you accomplish what I have and get from a size 20 to 6, you just don't care about that. You don't care if you don't get to eat the stuff that everyone else does anymore.
I wanted to share something;
This is me 3 years ago on New Years Eve, we celebrated my birthday a few days early. |
And this is me a few weeks ago. |
yesterday's breakfast |
yesterday's lunch, a cauliflower crust pizza, I was so hungry I ate the whole thing. |
I made a batch of zucchini-cheese coconut flour bread |
I waited for hubby to get home from work and we had some champagne. I did have a couple glasses but then It tasted a little bit sweet to me and gave me a tummy ache, so I stopped.
We were watching the New Years special on ABC, and Jenny and Fergie were just stupid and should not have been on there at all. Just my opinion. I wound up going to bed at 11:30 and hubby fell asleep at 10. I did not sleep well, not sure why.
Well Happy New Year Everyone. It has been absolutely gorgeous weather the past few days. Its supposed to be 83 today - go figure. I can't wait for the parade tomorrow.
I hope everyone has great success and reaches their weight loss goals any minute now.
Thanks for listening to me and Big hugs and lots of love to all. WWRD??
This is PurpleRosy signing off...
My thought for the day:

Happy New Year!!! I agree Jenny and Fergie were annoying last night. Could Jenny's hair gotten any blonder, or her skin more orange looking...yuck. I'm glad you blog as much as you do, you are such an encouragement to all of us. What a difference from your old pic to now. I hope you have a wonderful New Years Day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving us all so much-
ReplyDeleteYou look so good and you are absolute proof that the BFC works! It has been a pleasure to be your cyber friend this last 9 months! Thank you for your advice and friendship! Don't ever disappear from blogging! What would we do? :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Rosalie!! I'm so glad you're going to keep blogging. I really do think you help so many people. I was watching the ball drop last night and had a hard time watching Dick Clark! It's painful to watch him struggle to talk since he had his stroke. AND, he was the one that looked to orange to me. What are these people doing to themselves?!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Rosalie. I wish you a wonderful 2012. As always I really treasure you and your blog. Don't ever stop! Sending Happy New Year hugs from you to me!
ReplyDeleteYou look Flippin' AMAZING !!!! Congrats! gina
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I saw you in the new book, too. How fun to see you there. :) I'm glad you didn't cut back on blogging. You are such a huge support for all of us. I know we all support each other, but you are at your goal weight and i's helpful to others to see that they can get there and stay there, like you have.
ReplyDeleteI am not eating grain free for weight loss. If anything, eating grain free hinders my weight loss, because of the extra calories associated with those low carb items. I just like the food better - I feel more nourished. :)
ReplyDeleteYour an amazing inspiration. I have tried many diets and have failed. In 2001 I had weight loss surgery and although I had great success for many years I have fallen into the eating what we call "Slider" foods which almost 90% are high carb foods. I have tried and did well on the Atkins induction for a few weeks then would always end up stopping and going on a cookie, chip and sugar binge... I guess I felt so totally deprived that when I blew it... I blew it good!! I have had some major life changes in the past 4 1/2 years. I lost my 18 year old daughter in 2007 to an impaired driver then had a hysterectomy then married a man whom I love so much that has 5 children who live with us full-time. I also work 45 hours a week. My life is crazy... hectic & chaotic...but I love it!! BUT... I seem to be taking care of everyone but myself. I do believe the BFC is something that I can do and do it while cooking for a family of 8. One child has moved out on her own. As a matter of fact I'm hoping that I can inspire her as she sees me and what I KNOW I WILL ACCOMPLISH with my new way of eating. She has a good close to 100 pounds to lose.
ReplyDeleteEnough rambling....sorry...=)
I am 5'11" and weigh 230.2 as of this morning..My goal weight it 175. (With my weight loss surgery I was 274 and lost to 165...the weight that I felt more comfortable at was 175-180.
I would love to be able to talk to people that are on the BFC.... I'm gonna need help with recipes that I can feed to 8 people.... My husband needs to lose about 30 pounds (All Pot Belly) and I want to get my children ages 16 thru 9 off of all the junk they eat.. so any snack ideas for children that will not cost me an arm and a leg and I can keep around the house would be wonderfully appreciated!!
AND...today is my first day....so far so good =)
Happy New Year! I just finished reading The Belly Fat Cure & am excited about making BFC a lifestyle. I found you while doing more research on BFC. You are AMAZING & you look FABULOUS! What inspires me most about you is that where you started is pretty much where I am right now (give or take a few pounds & inches) and where you are now is where I'd like to be. I look forward to sharing and getting support. I know I can't do this alone & I shouldn't try.
