This is a SAFE Place..........

Hello everyone,

I wanted to talk about all of you out there today and not me. I have met online many, many people with the same things in common. That we all want to lose weight. Many of you have friended me on Facebook and on here. You have sent me emails and messages.

I want you to know that this is a safe place...............

There is no judgement here. We either are all over weight or have been (like me) just a little while ago. I can totally relate to all of you. Just a little while ago I was really big and miserable and depressed and I hated myself. I felt ugly and like nobody would ever want me. Hopeless!!

Do some of you feel that way??

I know some of you have said that you read my blog all the time but are too embarrassed or ashamed to join-in and leave comments. This is one of the ways that I have been successful on the Belly Fat Cure, is by admitting everything about myself and putting myself out there.

Please Let us help you to feel better about YOU!! No matter what else is going on in your life, this is one thing that can be controlled (your weight) BY SUPPORT!!

Don't be shy. It doesn't matter if you only want to lose 25lbs or 125lbs, By supporting and understanding one another WE CAN DO THIS!!

Look at me!! I am just a regular person that got lucky by finding the right thing for me.

If I can do it...YOU CAN do it too!!

Click JOIN this blog and all my friends blogs on the list below. Leave comments daily and let us know how you are feeling and how we can help. I have gotten a ton of tips, ideas and recipes from these blogs. But most of all SUPPORT from a bunch of really nice people.

Buying The Belly Fat cure BOOK is the first step. That is a must. You need that. I don't believe the Fast track is the way to go, but that is just me. Especially if you are as big as I was.

The next step is to admit that you are doing it,  with others and this a great way to share.

Well that's all for now. Thanks for listening and have a great day :-) WWRD?

This is PurpleRosy signing off.......

My thought for the day:

Our Choices

ChoicesIt is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  3. I was one of those people you are speaking to. You encouraged me to blog, leave comments, etc. It's been a great support to me,and it's what's kept me going. I've been a slow-to-lose-weigt type-so if I was alone-I might have given up! I'm uplifted when I hear from you all. So I add my encouragemnt to yours Rosy.

  4. Thanks for all the encouragement. Sometimes it would be so easy to give up. We had a death in our family two weeks ago and I fell off the wagon. I ate all the stuff people carried in and gained 4 lbs. back of my 10. It makes you feel what's the use. Then I tried on pants yesterday and none of them fit the way I liked and I felt like crying in the dressing room. I would like to lose 20-25 lbs. total. I am back on track now. I looked at the Fast Track and I am interested in trying it part of the time, but I don't think I would last long being so restricted. One question- I noticed the Fast track menu with all the vegetables on your blog is different than the one from his website (excerpt from the book). The book one doesn't have that many vegetables in the menus. Is there a difference?

  5. I'm not good at expressing myself. But I do agree with everyone else about your encouraging all of us. A BIG THANK YOU didn't mean to "shout" just wanted to express how I feel about being part of your blog.

  6. Hi Rosalie! Thank you for writing this post. I felt like you were talking to me. I knew when i wrote that post on my blog about the bread, that you wouldn't scold me. In fact you turned it into a positive and said at least the bread didn't have sugar. I am not the perfect BFC girl. I need to be more careful, write down and get honest about what I'm eating. I'm so stressed all the time, and sometimes I put me last. I really appreciate having you there to fall back on my friend. Hugs from me to you!!!
P.S. Please consider moving to PA and you can come work with me!!! LOL!!!

  7. I love the way that you make a point, but don't scold. The support you give is amazing.
I bought the Fast Track book and have looked through it 20 times and I still don't see you in there??? Am I blind?

  8. Rosalie, Thanks for all the support and positive feed back. I think we all need that every now and then. I bought the FT book and did not see your picture either.

  9. I agree! I love the support from the group! I have a question that is unrelated, though. It's about the coconut bread. I am not a baker, so bear with me. For this recipe, the ingredients are listed... do I just mix them all together? Do you have to do "dry" ingredients separately? Also, is the butter best at room temp or should it be cold? Thanks... I kind of assumed it will be all mixed together then put in the pan, but not sure. Thanks again!!

  12. Great post Rosalie. I do consider all of you friends, even though I'm not really doing the Bfc, just my version of healthy eating. You're a rock star, girl. I really wish we lived in the same town & could meet for a glass of wine or coffee, just to chat. Thanks for supporting me during all my struggles. I hope I can be supportive for others.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
