I want to see a new face on here every week!!!

Good Morning 7 listeners,

Well it's a bit overcast here today. But to me growing up in Michigan - the weather here is always nice in comparison. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

My weight-in this morning is the one that counts for me. Today  am 153lbs. My weight seems to go up and down just a bit all the time. I think it's normal for us women. So I am just 3lbs away from the goal that I set for myself when I started the BFC. That makes me very happy and excited.

That just goes to show you, if you just keep doing the BFC correctly - IT DOES WORK at any age!!

I realize now that the last 5 lbs is the hardest, like everyone has always said. But I am just doing the same thing,
I usually eat 2 grain carbs a day. 1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch. (sometimes more) But in the beginning I always ate all my grain carbs, then I weened them off a little at a time.

I always ate my 2 snacks each day in the beginning too, but now I don't usually need them every day, just once in a while some cheese or nuts. And I just mean a handful of almonds or walnuts, or pecans, not a whole bunch!! And usually 1 pc of cheese, or if it's off a chunk of cheese I will cut 2 small slices.

Always keep a baggie of Truvia and nuts in your purse for emergencies.

So I just email my doctor about my finger, cause it's turning green. ARGH! I am so pissed about this. I just wanted to treat myself by doing may nails the past 2 months. I have not done my nails at all in way over 6 years because I was always afraid of this very thing.

So I posted a quick little video to the right under my picture. Watch and get going people on your own video. I want to see a new face on here every week!!!

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs w/ sauted onion, mushrooms, and some left over chicken cut up, and cheese, with a smart and delicious wheat tortilla, coffee blah, blah, blah, all my vitamins, 2 of each probiotics and Reslina.

lunch; we went to the movies again and we saw X-Men. It was fantastic acting and writing. I ate 2 pieces of turkey wrapped up in my purse w/ a string cheese. I had some popcorn in a box cause hubby likes butter and I won't, and a handful of almonds I had in my purse.

dinner; I came home and made a foil pouch in the oven w/ a piece of salmon w/lemon juice and butter and asparagus. Let it bake while me and the babies went for another walk. We already went for a walk earlier in the day. The some RediWhip in a bowl for desert

Well that's it for now. Thanks for listening. Hugs to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:

Failure into Success

Failure into Success Positive QuotesEven at the worst there is a way out, a hidden secret that can turn failure into success and despair into happiness. No situation is so dark that there is not a ray of light.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  2. I just pour some in the box that they have and eat that. But remember I usually skip lunch when I do that. Just eat the lunch meat and cheese.

  5. Butter is OK on the BFC - but it has a tremendous amount of extra calories. Like 100 calories per tablespoon sometimes. Look at your butter package in the fridge. :-)

  7. I've been doing BFC for over a year- lost over 20 pounds, which may not sound like much but tremendous for me since I have always been physically active & my belly measurement was technically in "good" range when I started-- hourglass figure even when heavy. Now BFC is a way of life-- I seriously don't consider it a diet. I never started with a # I wanted to lose so I think that helped with making this a lifestyle change rather than a diet. I don't fixate on weight of the day because I know a lot of things play a factor in this- hydration, time of the month, etc. What I do notice is that my weight will fluctuate day to day but the trend is that the high number of the range gradually goes & stays down. I honestly can't believe how simple this was for me because I never had success with "diet."

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
