I'm finally home...

Hi All,

Yesterday Maria and I had a long great day. I was gonna go home yesterday morning but Maria said she had to pay a bill and go to a doctor. She takes the bus and it takes her a long time. Kattie hardly helps, so I stayed.

For breakfast I had my usual of a smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, 2 turkey bacon, and 2 eggs.

After her appointment we went to Cosmopolitan, its a new casino. Beautiful!

We were gonna eat lunch there - but it was way too expensive so we went next door to Vidara. Then we walked over the bridge to Planet Hollywood and they have a ton of shops there and we ate a salad at a sandwich place.and shopped around.

We walked and walked and walked. I did buy a new pair of shoes and I tried on a sexy dress but was too self conscious to buy it.

So now I am finally home now and I am tired. It took a longer time than usual to get home from Vegas today. There were accidents - of course. But on the way home I decided to woman-up and go buy that dress and Planet Hollywood. I got there and got so lost. I couldn't find that store. Couldn't remember the name to look it up. I must have walked around the shops for like an hour and at least 4 times.

Then finally I saw the same girl from last night. She said - I saw you a little while ago. I laughed and told her I got lost. So I bought it!! I can't believe I did - but I did.

I tried to take a good picture, but its too hard by myself. The straps are made out of beads, and its got little sparkly jewels on it.

Today I ate:
breakfast; smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/ cheese and chicken
lunch; smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/ cheese, lunchmeat and hummus for flavor, and 6-7 salt and vinegar chips. ate in car.

Thats all I brought with me. 
snack; dr zevia soda & protein bar (the one thats on my products page)
dinner; spinach salad &; buffalo wings, rediwhip and 8 blackberries for desert.

PS I forgot to address the question about the wine from the other day.... This is my opinion.. Any alcohol is fattening. I don't agree with what Jorge said about having 2 glasses every night. NO NO!! Just once in a while. That is a sacrifice that we need to make on the BFC. I drink Red, Cabernet Savignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Usually..

You have a great relationship with your step mom and I'm sure she really appreciates the time you take to go and visit her. I'm glad you made it home safe and sound.

  2. I love those colors, and also the style of that dress! It fits you really nice Rosalie. I'd break my ankle for sure in shoes that high, and so I'll stick to my sneakers, in less of course, I get down to a size 8 then I may have to buy one pair. Glad you got home safe, and you were able to enjoy your visit with Maria. I bet your dogs went nuts when you walked in the door! Aloha.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
