First I would like to wish a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers out there. I am sorry to say that my mom died over 9 years ago. I do miss her, but I still have Maria and hubby's mom and my daughter who is a mom.
Well - yesterday (Saturday) I went and did the Revlon 5k walk for Breast Cancer. I have to say it was fun and there was like a zillion people there. I never did anything like that before. I will definitely love to do it again. If you go to my facebook page I posted all the pictures on there.
What I ate yesterday:
breakfast; at 6 am I made a sandwich to eat in the car on the way of 2 Oasis bread toasted w/ cheese and 1 fried egg and some hummus spread on 1 pc for flavor. We stopped at AM PM on the way and I got some coffee.
snack; around 9am I was getting hungry again and ate a protein bar and some savi seeds after in the car.( on my products page)
lunch: they stopped at McDonalds, I ate 3 chicken strips and some buffalo sauce to dip.
snack; hungry again - I had 2 wasa crackers 1 w/peanut butter and 1 w/huummus
dinner; spinach salad w/cesar dressing, 7 meatballs, hand full of green beans and broccoli w/ some gravy for flavor. 2 squares of lindt 85% dark chocolate and a little bit of redi whip.
Oh yeah - I still had to walk my 2 doggies. They didn't care that I was so tired. LOL
Today is Mother's day and I have to go out and visit my son who is in a rehab place. I told him a long time ago that no matter what he does I will always love him and never turn my back on him like his father did. That is not what I want to do today - but I feel that he needs me to, to get better.

I hope your son will get the strength that his Mom has, and is healed completely, to live life how it is meant to be lived for him. I am glad you are visiting him today. The walk sounded great. I'm going to your f.b. page. Happy Mother's Day Rosalie.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day Rosalie! I think it would be very hard seeing your child going through a tough time. Good for going to visit him.
