Good Morning all,

I am still here in Vegas today. I was going home today, but decided to stay 1 more day. Maria is happy that I am here so I will go home tomorrow. I know Mandy and Peaches miss me terribly. Hubby said he went to go to bed the other night and he said he couldn't find them anywhere. He looked in every room and finally found them outside in their dog house at 10pm. I think they were waiting for me to come home. :-(

Yesterday we had a good day. I had breakfast of a smart and delicious wheat tortilla w/cheese, and 2 eggs scrambled w/ some left over shredded chicken, broccoli and cauliflower, and some jalapenos, and of course coffee, blah, blah, blah.

We went to Sam's club to buy the truvia in the big box. I got 4 boxes. 300 in a box for $13.73 each. I usually get them at WalMart for $6 a box of 80. So this is a real good deal so I stocked up.

Then we went to Chipotle and had a salad and our tummies were doing the happy dance. Love that place!

Then we found a Kohls and I used my $10 in Kohls cash I had. I bought a pair of Apt9 capris and a beautiful sleeveless top.

Then we went to Boulder Station and saw the movie Water For Elephants. t was very good - but no one prepared us for crying 1/2 the movie. That's all I'm gonna say. We had popcorn and I snuck us in a drink in our purse. I finally tried a Steaze. Very good, sweetened w/stevia.

Got home and I had a spinach salad w/ some more of that chicken left over, broccoli, cauliflower and some ranch and 1 square of lindt 85% dark chocolate. And we watched Glee and then The Voice.

  1. Quick ?'s What wines are Belly Fat Cure Friendly?? From what I have read, it seems like Red Wines are the only ones. Though calorie king site , Riesling -Sweet White was kinda low in carbs . I know Jorge says two drinks a day are okay, but most people I know stall or gain the day after two glasses of wine.

  2. I need to go to Sam's and get truvia in a big pack like that. Much better price I think too. I just never have time to go to Sams lately. You do so great eating while your out and about, I need to be better about that myself. I bet your pups will be so happy to see you, they are missing their daily walk plus they just miss their mom. ;)

    Sounds like you are having a good time in Vegas,I have never been there.My sister just got the BFC book and is reading it so I hope I can get her on board with me.Thanks again for posting what you eat,sure helps me alot!!Wendy

  4. I wish I lived close to Vegas, but on the other hand I would probalby be broke....lol. I want to watch Water for Elephants too maybe on Mother's day. I am sure your poor little babies are missing you. And I agree about chipotle too love it!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
