I was looking online this morning for a job and saw another post for Sears for a Cashier. So I went to the Sears website directly and filled out an application online for the position. I tried something different his time and skipped some of my self employed stuff and just put the related experience I had.
They ask you a ton of questions that are so stupid. I think they want to know about your character. Well I guess I answered them better this time because when I was finished it asked me to pick a interview time and date. Woo Hoo!! That is the first time that happened since I started looking for a job.
It's just an interview - so we will see.
What I ate today:
breakfast; a 2 egg and cheese and avocado omelette, and some quinoa w/some butter and salt. I saw on Dr Oz yesterday that Quinoa is a great source of protein. It's a grain like very small rice. 1/4 cup of dry has 25 gms of carbs, 3 gms of fiber, 5 gms of protein, no sugar.
lunch; spinach salad w/clue cheese and bacon dressing, feta cheese, avocado, and a pita pizza made w/ a sara lee wheat pita, seeds of change, romagna three cheese pasta sauce, cheese and turkey pepperoni.
dinner; broccolli w/ butter, and a chicken-cheese patty, and some redi whip and 2 squares of 85% dark Lindt chocolate.
I spotted the owl again and filmed it for you. I hope you can see it. You all said it is good luck right?
Well thanks for listening. Lots of love to all of you. Please leave your comments, and don't forget to visit my friends blogs on the list below.
My thought for the day:

Keep on BFC ' n :-)

That would be a good working environment, hope you get it. Now days they ask questions at interviews like; where do you see yourself in 5 years. The hardest question that I got at my last interview was; what's your worse trait, and the only thing that was running through my mind is, I'm always late! So of course I didn't say that, but I said something like, I'm hard on myself but not others. Guess that was okay, because I got hired. Interviews today are a little different than they were a long time ago. Make sure you stress the fact that you have stayed current with technology. They'll like that. The young guns (called - the new Millennium generation- once were called Yuppies, are all technology driven, and stores need to stay current. Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteSears is really nice, I hope the interview goes well and you get the job! :) Good luck (maybe that is why the owl has shown up twice for you). ;) ;) I have never tried Quinoa, maybe I will have to try sometime...was it good?
