Year 2, Tuesday wk 4 on the Belly Fat Cure

Good Morning to all,

Every time I think of a great topic to blog about for the next day, By the time I go to write it - I forget. Must be my Middle-Heimers LOL!

I just saw on the news about certain things are good for your brain in one way or another. The 3 I remember they said was: chocolate, coffee, and believe it or not - CURRY!! Ha - what do you know!! I really love that I found to put that in my stir-fry. I love the spicy flavor.

We do have some new people lately that have joined us. Welcome!! We are all here to help and support one another. Leave any comments that you want with thoughts or questions and we will all help.

So to all the new people: I just want to say that I am living proof that this really does work. Not for everyone. You really need to have willpower to stop eating the bad stuff. Some of you cannot commit  to that, and thats OK. There are many different things for you to try. Find the one thats fits YOU!

For me it was the Belly Fat Cure. I hope it will be for you too. It's easy and most important -
YOU DO GET TO EAT CARBS!

First you definitely need to get the book!! Don't worry about what it says on the cover, that you will lose 4-9lbs a week. That might happen for a couple of weeks - but then not. There may be some weeks that your weight goes up a bit.

The trick for me was, to not give up no matter what the scale said. Just keep doing it and find different things to eat that are Belly Good, that work for you. Thats all there is to it. (Look at my weight loss progress)

Keep checking in and get support from all of us. I have made many friends since I started the BFC. I have spoke to many of them on the phone. I love to help anyone I can. I feel it deep inside me to spread the word, so to speak.

So I hope everyone has a great day today!

Thanks for listening.

Hugs and kisses to those of you that didn't get any yesterday.
Keep on BFC ' n  :-)******************

  1. Yea I agree, I love curry and even better that they say its good for you now :) I am actually thinking about doing some veggies as a curry stir fry tonight. I found this recipe for Coconut Curry Chicken I can't wait to try. I just gotta figure the S/C value counts up and then I will post to share with everyone. :) But it looks like the counts will be very low because all the ingredients so far don't look high in sugar or carbs.

Oh and change my weight to 207 :) this week thanks!!

  2. Coconut curry sounds so yummy today...it is rainy today in WA state. Speaking of the things that are good for us, I saw the other day on Jorge's facebook pg. that coffee helps reduce heart failure by 40%...and I thought whoo hoo!!! Both my husband and I have heart disease in our immediate families and we want to do our best to avoid heart problems.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
