Year 2, Saturday wk 2 on the Belly Fat Cure

Hello to all of my BFC friends,

Well it's a beautiful day today here in southern California. I hate to rub it in, but that's one of the reasons I live here instead of back in Michigan where I am from.

I have to go grocery shopping today. When I do, I have to go to 4 stores and it usually takes up to 2 hours. I start out at Sams Club, then next door to Wal-Mart for all the little things I can't get at Sams. Then I go to Henrys mkt, the healthy store, then I end up at the Asian mkt for the Shirataki noodles, baby bok choy, tofu, and believe it or not, the chocolate Redi-Whip. It's the only place I can find the chocolate.

Yesterday I just laid on the couch with my snuggie. I was just feeling kind of BLAH. I do feel better today and my weight is good today too. I'm not gonna say cause it doesn't count till Monday.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs, 2 oasis bread w/butter and josephs sugar free peanut butter, 2 turkey bacon, coffee, blah, blah, blah.
lunch: a mix of veggies in a bowl of zuchinni, asparagus, mushrooms, brocolli,(steamed in the microwave) w/shiritaki noodles and some alfredo sauce and parmesean cheese. and a few josephs sugar free cookies.
snack: super seed w/water, and a mini bag of popcorn
dinner: chicken and green beans, and 2 squares of lindt 85% dark chocolate w/ redi-whip.
Most of the times at night I have a cup of decaf tea w/truvia while watching TV.

So now I am just waiting around for the gardener. They are scared of the dogs so I always have to wait for them to come before I can leave or they will not do the back. They usually get her bet 11-12, then shopping then maybe a movie later.

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments below.

My thought for the day:

Worry

Worry Positive QuoteWorry is a futile thing, it’s somewhat like a rocking chair; although it keeps you occupied, it doesn't get you anywhere.

  1. Hi Rosalie!
Have fun shopping today! I wish I could find the oasis bread up here. I found the Trader Joes sprouted wheat bread that is no sugar & 1 carb for 2 slices but I am down to my last loaf until I can get back there and we arent going until April. It is a 2 hr drive each way so we make a day of it when we go and last time I bought 13 loaves to hold me for the winter.
Glad to hear you are shaking off the "blahs" today and hope you are feeling better!
Please change my weight to 196 now. Lost another pound this week. Yippee!!
    Have a great weekend!

  2. I ran out this morning to Paia for breakfast, omelet, salad, (no potato), and 2 slice bread. It's got great chef's, but waitstaff not real with it. My friend said she thought the girl was stoned. I think she doesn't eat enough food, and looks too thin. Afterward we went into Mana Foods a few doors down, and bought our organics for the week. I found the Super Seed and will try it this week. The saleslady knew what I was asking for. Glad your over the blahs. I'm like a roller coaster with those. One week I'm up, the next few days I'm stressing and down. I told my friend, I wish I could stay relaxed and stress free! Ha! Enjoy your weekend.

  3. Have fun shopping. We are headed out today to do our shopping as well. We dont have a sams club but a costco and I think they are similar. I stopped by a health food store looking for resalina and the lady had no clue what I was talking about. I guess I will have to order that online. I did buy a good probiotic I hope that helps get me back on track.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
