Year 2, Friday week 1 on the Belly Fat Cure

And a Good Morning to all of my BFC friends.

Yes - that is my backyard. You can come visit anytime, it's beautiful weather over here in southern Cali. That is a good idea on the videos to do more. I really should have been doing them the whole time, but it never occurred to me, and besides I would not have wanted to be on camera when I was so big. I know you understand the feeling. Hubby and I tried to film me a bunch of times the other day and I was like.....OMG I look terrible on camera. You know how they say the camera adds 10lbs, well its absolutely true. I can't believe I'm saying this - but I actually looked fat!! We also had to do a bunch of retakes I am going to make a blooper reel. It was funny.
Well anyway - Make some suggestion on what you want to hear and I will do it.

Sue and Sherri are both getting ready to go on cruises soon. You will have so much fun!! I have never been but I hear they have a ton of food. Try not to worry about that too much. You will most likely find many choices that fit into the BFC lifestyle. Just take lots of pictures so we can all be jealous. :-)

One of my new friends, Miranda asked me a very good question.
She asked: "The clear beefiber I take in my coffe each morning has 4 carbs.....that alone is not counted but I have it with breakfast....should I be adding it to my Breakfast carb totals???????

The answer is yes, you should add everything together for each meal to get the S/C totals. Everything you put into your mouth, sauces, types of fiber, like the Super seed I take (its on the tab that says products I use and also on the widget for Amazon.com on the left).

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; sauted onion, mushroom, w/2 eggs, cheese, 2 turkey bacon crumbled in the eggs, 1/2 avocado1 slice of Oasis low carb, sprouted flaxseed bread w/butter and natures hollow sugar free preserves, coffee, blah, blah, blah.
lunch; tuna w/ mayo, bacon bits, avocado, zuchinni cut up, cheese mixed altogether.
no carbs w/lunch because we were going to the movies.
dinner; no dinner cause we were at the movies and I have popcorn. by the time I got home it was after 8pm and I never eat past 7-7:30. but I did have some redi-whip in a bowl mixed with white and chocolate.

There are so many times that hubby and I are talking about me and the BFC and I say -- I should put that on my blog tomorrow. But then I forget what that is...Duh! that's my middle-heimers kicking in. So if you can think of anything - let me know.

  1. I am so jealous seeing you there in your back yard with that beautiful sunny weather. I think your next video you should show what you eat or fix I know everyone always like to see that to help them on their journey.

  3. I was laughing out loud at the ending because you tell your hubby "stop". I'm glad you left that in, because it shows you are human, and you have had real success on your journey. I liked it Rosalie. You look super slim too! I would have lost track while talking but you sound so natural. I get all crazy in front of a camera, and tongue tied. I'd like to see you cook that shitake noodle dish you like on the next one.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
