Monday starting week 44: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello,
I am writing this from my Dad's house in Las Vegas. I love their scale over here. This morning it said I weighed 164.6. I can't really count anything because I do realize that all scales are different. So I will have to wait until I get home on Wednesday.

It was fun I have to tell you traveling with my 2 dogs. They have never been on such a long car ride before and just kept looking out the windows wondering where I was taking the. It was raining the entire way. After about 1 & 1/2 hours they finally layed  down, but would not close their eyes.

When I got to dad's, they have 2 dogs and 1 of them just kept barking in their faces and being real mean. My 2 little angels were very patient and didn't do anything back - just walked away. finally today she stopped yelling at them.

It is very windy and cold over here, so I didn't go walking the past 2 days like I usually do. Maybe I will tuff it out today.

Maria my step-mom is from El Salvador and always makes home made tamales. She made them yesterday, so I had 1 for breakfast with some salsa and mexican cheese on top with 2 eggs. Yum.
I am not eating enough veggies here, cause they really don't eat them too much. So I feel like I am missing something in my diet. But I am eating salad at least.

My sister came over yesterday evening for a few hours and brought her 2 little dogs also. So needless to say, there was 6 dogs over here. Her 2 little ones played and played with mine and they all had so much fun. It was very cute.

We are supposed to go and see the new Harry Potter movie today - I hope, then tomorrow (Tuesday) will be our thanksgiving. Then I am going home on Wednesday so I can celebrate Thanksgiving with hubby's family. I never get to do that any more cause I am always over here in Vegas with my family. I am looking forward to that and to see the reactions on their faces when they all see how small I am now.

I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving Day Week!

Thanks for listening. Lot of love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:

Call Your Troubles Experiences

Trouble Positive QuoteIf you will call your troubles experiences, and remember that every experience develops some latent force within you, you will grow vigorous and happy, however adverse your circumstances may seem to be

  1. Glad you had a safe trip! I ventured to my daughters which is 3 hours away and took my dog also, she's such a good traveler, but then we get to my daughters and she has a new pup and my dog is such a grouch with her, no patience what so ever! My daughter lives in West Des Moines, Iowa so we went shopping all day Saturday and it was my turn to buy some clothes, it was so exciting, my youngest daughter came too, they picked out the outfits and i tried them on. It was so fun!! I actually got my a** in a pair of Buckle jeans!!!!
Have a great time with your family!!!

  2. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. :) I imagine it could be crazy with two little dogs, I have one 25 lbs Jack Russel and one 75 lbs. lab/pit mix and I couldn't imagine taking them in a car together. My little dog is awesome in the car, but my big pup is a disaster! Tamales are so awesome! Being that my husband is from Honduras and we have a lot of friends from many different countries, I have got to enjoy trying many different kinds of foods.

Great blog once again! Thank you for always sharing Rosalie. :)

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
