Friday of week 40: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello everyone,

Hopefully we are on our way to a great weekend. It's supposed to rain over here in California, so I guess I will try to make the best out of it.

I've been posed with some suggestions by Kasey and Sherri L.
Kasey has said twice I think that I should start some kind of support group over here for the BFC.
Sherri said I should start a conference call for everyone.

I think that's a Fabulous way to start some support for all of us BFC'rs - conference call.

What do you all think?? Once a week? Suggest some time slots and I will narrow it down and arrange it.
We can start next week. I would love to help people and this is a great way to start. We get no support from Jorge's fanpage on Facebook, besides each other. So why not?

Everybody - come on - Chime in - Speak UP! We can help each other!

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 pieces of french toast made with ezekeil 100% sprouted bread, Joseph's sugar free syrup and  turkey bacon, 2 cups of coffee w/benifiber, truvia, powdered coffee mate, cinnamon, Barleans, my probiotics, Reslina and the rest of my vitamins.
lunch; spinach salad w/ tuna, mayo, bacon bits, croutons, avocado, feta cheese.
snack; super seed w/water
dinner; 8 pcs of tequila lime chicken wings (4 wings total), and some broccoli. and some clemmy's with redi-whip on top for desert.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to keep your cool while we are all going thru such hard times. Remember that you don't have to eat or drink to fill the void. We can feel bad about something without having to do something about it. It's ok to be sad or even cry. We are human for crying out loud.

I want everyone to know that I only started doing this by buying his book: The Belly Fat Cure. Nothing else. I never signed up for any of his classes or paid anything extra. ( I can't afford that). I found a way to make it work - SO CAN YOU!!

We are Team BFC Club, and our motto is: WE CAN DO THIS!!

Please support one another! Leave comments after each other's comments. Insert your blog address with your comment.

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:
East and West

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Awesome idea for a support group! :) I may not always be available, and im in GA so don't know about the time change deal. But im at work from 8-6, but anytime after I could totally join in on a conference call. I know if we all apply ourselves to this diet it will work. I did lose 10lbs when I first started but stress fell upon me big time in recent months and now I am going to be a bridesmaid in 3 weeks but as of Nov. 20th I will be full force back on the BFC. I am sorta on it now, but nothing to extreme because I paid $200 for this dress and if it gets to lose for some reason, I would have to pay again to be altered which I can't afford. WOOPS!! Sorry for writing to much here. All I mean to say is im all for a support group conference call. :)

  4. Rosalie, I am down for anything. If I know the times I can try to work around it. My schedule is flexible and depending on what day and time, I will see what works. Go for it!

  5. Do I need a land line because I only have a cell phone. Also it's a 2-3 hour time difference (depending on daylight savings time) from California. With this being said, don't think I can be included in the conference call. It's a great idea!

  6. Rosalie, It is so great to see you are willing to help everyone on the BFC plan. I know this was helpful to me when I first started. I wont be able to do the calls but I still love to read your blogs along with all the other BFC friends blogs. They are so helpful and full of great ideas. I know when I first started we talked on the phone and it was very helpful as well. If the conference calls do not work then maybe you can give all the newbies a one on one call.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
