Thursday of week 35: The Belly Fat Cure

Hello Team BFC Club,

I wanted to start off by thanking my beautiful daughter for leaving such a great message yesterday. I also wanted to welcome all the new people on my blog to our little Team BFC Club.
Welcome: plumpdumpling, Rhonda, Ellen and Ginger.

I originally started this blog for myself. Then I kept saying, why isn't anyone reading it. But then I realized that my comments were actually giving people hope and inspiration that the Belly Fat Cure really does work and it will work for them too!!

Yesterday Ellen C. said that she feels like we are in a BFC club. So that is what WE ARE from now on.
And What is OUR MOTTO??..............  WE CAN DO THIS!!
So when ever we are having a bad day, just remember that you are a member of the Team BFC club.
We all love you and are here to support you. and WE CAN DO THIS!!

At this point in the BFC for me, I find that my weight goes down then up a little and then back down again. I have been doing very well the past week so I thought that today for sure I would be back up to 176 lbs again. I weighed myself with my eyes closed and to my surprise it was 174 lbs. That's 64 lbs down so far. I can't be that excited yet cause my weigh-in day in on Monday. And lets face it, a lot can happen from now to then.

Yesterday I ate:
breakfast; 2 eggs w/ sauted mushrooms, onions and green peppers and cheese, 2 strips of turkey bacon and 1/2 cp of cottage cheese. and of course 2 cups of coffee w/clear metamucil, truvia, half and half and cinnamon, all my vitamins and Reslina and Barleans.
Lunch: stir fry veggies w/some left over steak cut up and shirataki noodles with braggs and curry and a touch of sesame oil. Then I had a  squirt of Redi Whip after.
snack: walnuts and super seed w/water. (Super seed is a source of fiber that tastes pretty good. its on my list of things that I love to the left. You can get it from amazon.com cheaper that in the store.)
dinner; steak and spinach salad w/feta cheese, bacon bits and creamy balsamic dressing w 2 sugars from Ralphs.
After dinner I had 2 squares of Giradehli midnight revere chocolate.

I really appreciate all my new BFC friends and love that we all have the same goal.

Don't forget to read and support all the other BFC blogs on the list below.

Leave your info for the YEAR END GOAL chart to the right. Join us with a realistic year end weight loss goal. I will post it on our chart to the right and we can support and help one another.

Thanks for listening. Much Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day:
It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Rosalie, I am sure glad to be a part of the club. I always find very helpful hints from everyone. Also when you are feeling a little down there is always someone there to give you a little encouragement. I am down a couple of pounds so far this week, which I am hoping will stay until Monday's weigh in. Hope you keep having a great week.

  2. Oh Rosalie, isn't it nice that your daughter is behind you and so proud of you. that is wonderful. Girl you will make your goal before the new year at this rate.
I guess I haven't posted my weight and goals yet so here goes. My top weight was 188.4 lbs, and I am down to 181.6. Seems to be stuck there for a while so am looking forward to the downhill slide. My goal is to be 160 by the new year. Please post.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
