Wednesday of week 29: The Belly Fat Cure

Well my power was out most of the day yesterday for 5 hours. How boring it is when we live in this day and age and the power goes out, We don't have a clue what to do. I went out to lunch so I didn't have to open the fridge,   ran up and down the stairs a bunch of times getting stuff, then didn't feel like reading, so just lay down right?

I haven't had my afternoon fiber the past 3 days. I ran out of the super seed and was just trying to see if you can really do like Jorge says. Just get your fiber from what we eat. Well for me, I have had a problem with that from the beginning. I have read a lot of comments about people doing the BFC having constipation problems too. I eat veggies all the time and still can't go without added fiber of some kind. I'm going to keep up with the afternoon fiber. I really need it.

What are all of you doing for fiber?

By doing this for so long I guess I think that everyone else in my life will understand what I am going through. I am living with a 55 year old CHILD who pisses me off to no end sometimes. I think in my head that he is doing this on purpose to push me to my limits to see if I will cheat because I get upset. I know that's not true, but before the BFC I probably would have. I have learned not to emotional eat now. I can feel upset and not go get ice cream or whatever.

I am up 1/2 lb today. Boo Hoo! That sounds so ridiculous right? 1/2 lb is nothing. This is 1 on the reasons why some say not to weigh every day.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
