Saturday of week 31: The Belly Fat Cure

Hi All, So lately I have been having a bunch of questions about the Garden of Life - Super Seed I have been taking.
It looks like this:
The container I have has a few more words on the front under where it says Beyond fiber. It has 6 grams of fiber, 9 grams of carbs, 0 sugar as it is sweetened with Stevia, it has sprouted grains and seeds, and legumes in it and it helps maintain regularity.

I found it about 1 1/2 months ago at Henry's market when I was getting frustrated with my fiber problem. If you buy it thru the widget I put on the left on Amazon.com it is much cheaper than in the store. I bought 2 and with shipping it was $33. They are $22 each in the store.

Try it if you are having a #2 problem. Mix with water and drink immediately as it does get thick quick like psyllium but tastes much better!

Lunch yesterday I had my left over chicken and veggies from the chinese food place and a Sara Lee wheat  pita with butter and adams sugar free peanut butter on it. I got the Adams at walmart.

Dinner I had my stir fry veggies with tofu and shiritaki noodles with curry and braggs.
Shiritaki noodles, 0 carbs, 0 sugar, 0 calories
Braggs tastes like soy sauce but healthier!
Both of these are also on the widget to the left at Amazon.com.

For Breakfast this morning I had 2 eggs with sautéed onions and mushrooms, with some cheese and avocado on top. With 3 strips of turkey bacon and some cottage cheese. And of course all my vitamins and 2 cups of coffee with half and half, truvia, clear metamucil, and cinnamon.

I'm hoping to get my hubby to go and see that real scary movie with me today or tomorrow, The Last Exorcism. I love scary movies!

Thanks for listening everyone. Love to all of my BFC friends! Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day;
People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. Oh, I can't handle scary movies like that. I'm sure the amount of stress hormones my body would be pumping out would cause me to gain weight! :D

  2. I need to get some of that Super Seed. For the first time EVER I am not eliminating regularly and it is strange! I would think that on this diet you would be "normal", you know? Anyway, just rambling :) Thanks for sharing.

  3. I wonder if there is such a thing as too much fiber? Something to look into.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
