Monday Starting week 31: The Belly Fat Cure.

I am happy to say that my weight is still at 180 lbs today. That makes it 58 lbs that I have lost so far. I have been walking every day with my 2 dogs: Mandy & Peaches. Then I put them back home and go around again by my self. I am enjoying all the walking and I think it is helping with my weight loss.

A lot of people keep saying that I should work out now that I have lost. I just have to say that I never liked doing it before and still don't want to. I am not a weight lifty kind of gal. Sorry people :-} I just like to walk fast (almost to the point of running - but not running).

Last night for dinner I had a steak and a salad with feta cheese and bacon bits and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing with only 1 sugar. And we had some red wine (Cabernet).

Breakfast this morning: eggs with sauted onions, mushrooms and avocado and cheese. And some cottage cheese and of course all my vitamins and coffee with half and half and cinnamon and purevia.

I absolutely love telling everyone I can about the Belly Fat Cure, and how I have lost all this weight so far. I know it might not be right for everyone, but is the right diet for a lot of us.

A few key things to remember when doing the BFC:

  • eat 3 times a day (very important!)
  • always drink water - no more diet or sugar free drinks with artificial sweeteners.
  • no carbs after 3 pm
  • keep a can of RediWhip in the fridge and take a squirt when you get a sugar craving. 0/0 - 15 calories
  • get lots of fiber (in which ever way is best for you)
  • DON"T CHEAT! You are only cheating on yourself!
  • Commit 100% and don't give up!

Thanks for listening. Love to all of my BFC friends. Please leave your comments.

My thought for the day;
I have found many people in need of support. Please find new friends that are doing the BFC and support them. It's lonely and scary doing this.

Keep on BFc ' n  :-)

  1. Those are GREAT tips. I don't know how you do no carbs after 3pm. I want to get there, but that is the time of day I get the most hungry, and my family has to have carbs with dinner (I have a husband and 2 boys under age 6). I hope I can get there though!

  2. Rosalie, I've been reading your blog for weeks now and want you to know what an inspiration you are to me! Thank you for sharing your journey and huge congrats on your well deserved successes! You give me such great ideas for yummy BFC meals and your writing always gives me a smile.

  3. You're doing fabulous! Your dinner sounded so scrumptious. It makes me want to have it for dinner sometime soon.

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
