Wow am I tired! Tonight is the 2nd night in the new house. So much work to do!! So much un-packing to do still. I won't have any Internet, TV or phone until Wednesday. That seems like an eternity. So you are probably wondering how I am doing this tonight?? I got this program called PDA net to tether my Motorola Droid phone to my laptop. Ingenious HUH?
I have to tell you that I have been eating really weird the past 4 days. Don't get me wrong, I have not been eating bad or anything. Some days I did not eat that much at all and allot of fast food. I have been trying to eat good fast food if there is such a thing. One time had a Angus mushroom burger at McDonalds wrapped in lettuce, Chicken strips and salads sometimes. I found myself getting dizzy and almost passing out a few times. I realized I was doing too much work and only having like 1 carb for the day. I tried eating fries with my food so I could get some energy. That seemed to help a bit.
My 27 year old son has been around allot and helping with the move. I really don't know what we would have done without his help. It would have been just me and my hubby. But there is 1 problem with him being around. He is always trying to get me to taste his food. He says "Mom want a bite"? And I always say NO. He said to me tonight " You hate when I say that huh?" He said I am so strict and never cheat. I told him that I am afraid that if I start eating bad I will loose everything I have worked so hard for the last 5 months.

How to convert Sugar to Stevia

Some tips if you are having trouble
- First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
- Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
- Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
- Make sure you drink lots of water.
- Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
- Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
- Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
- Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

ReplyDeleteHugs!!oh, I made Rick and me a shake this morn, for a mid morn snack, 12 oz diet orange soda, 2 scoops vanilla protein shake mix, 4 ice cubes, blend in blender, we halfed it, 52 g. protein, 6g carb, 3 g. sugar.
