Thursday of week 21: the Belly Fat Cure

I'm feeling pretty good today about the BFC. I keep thinking that for some reason I will stop loosing weight. Do't get me wrong, this is not easy sometimes. I mean - it's easy to do sure, but sometimes mentally it's a little hard.

When I am out at Sam's Club for instance. Before when my hubby and I would go shopping there, we would get hungry and go up to the food counter and get a big hot dog and soda and pretzel. Well those were the days huh?

It's embedded in my brain now........ Nope can't eat that, can't eat that, can't eat that, well.......Nope can't eat that. Yada, yada, yada you all know the same story.

So I would like anyone who might have any concerns or questions or problems to post those concerns or questions, and I will do my best from my experience on the Belly Fat Cure to answer them. I certainly don't know everything, but maybe I have already been through it and I would love to help.

  2. Well, I love ice tea at Sams ( no food hate hot dogs) I went today but they took away my ice tea. Boo Hoo! I so looked forward to that moment in Sams. Now only sodas and Rasberry tea Yuck! Sandy

  3. Great Blog! My best friend in the world has now joined me on my quest to get this weight off. It's been hard...I tried not to push...but since I've lost 31 pounds now, she has decided to get her head right.
    She has made me so happy. We have been friends for almost 40 years1!!It so good to do this with a hubby or a friends, but best is many friends on here to Keep us straight!! Thank you, Rosalie!!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.
