Friday of week 16: I noticed something today!!

I just wanted to mention something that I noticed today. I had to go to my Dad's again in Las Vegas on Wednesday. I just got back today. I hope I didn't gain any weight cause my schedule was WAY OFF!!! For instance, last night we ate dinner at 10pm. I haven't done that since I started this BFC.  I always make sure that I am done eating by 7pm every night. and I never eat carbs with dinner any more. As a matter of fact I seem to only eat 3 carbs a day usually, and that's including my daily psyllium husks, which we have to count as a carb.

Oh - so back to the subject. I was driving home and noticed something in the car. I drive a PT Cruiser. They have those arm rests that go up or down. I usually never put mine down because it always touches my hips and makes it very uncomfortable. So today I realized that I was half way home with the arm rest down and it was several inches away from me. I couldn't believe it!! I was so comfortable and very happy.
I know it was the book the Belly Fat Cure that started this for me.....................
But it is me that is actually doing it. My pants are so big I feel like a bum. No shopping for me. I am just going to belt it up for a while. I don't want to waste money on clothes cause I still plan on getting back down to 150lbs. One way or another.

Thanks for listening. Please leave your comments.

My thought for today. I must learn to have more patience. ( I got so pissed off at my Dad's)

Keep on BFC ' n  :-)

  1. That is a wonderful observation! I hope you keep it up and notice many more things as the days and weeks go by.

  2. Congrats, Rosalie!

I had the same delicious experience with a robe that I did not fit into anymore. Then, one day, when I needed a robe, it dawned on me that, "Hey, that robe from x years ago probably fits me now." Sure enough, it did - and that was awesome! I guess it takes time to FULLY learn that we actually ARE changing. Somehow, getting into smaller and smaller pants and suits didn't make me realize that the robe would fit. It's like that article of clothing was segregated to me as "off limits." I am now looking forward to getting into my wedding suit - and beyond! We can dream, can't we?

    Take care, Rosalie.

  3. Those kind of changes mean even more then changes on the scale! Congrats!! That is a big change. Keep up the great work Rosalie!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
