Tuesday of week 12: Belly Fat Cure

Yesterday I was out running errands and just couldn't resist. You know, my pants have become really loose. So I have been trying to resist the urge to try on smaller ones. But yesterday I could resist no more. I drove by a Ross so I went in and found 2 pairs of jeans 16 and 14 to try on. I figured one of them would fit because mine are all 18 and falling off me. FYI the 16 fit, but was a little snug.

My point is - I have read lots and lots of comments on facebook of people saying that they lost 10 or 15 lbs and now they have miraculously gone down 1 or 2 pant sizes. WOW! I am now down 28lbs and the next size down is still a little snug. so I don't think they are actually telling the truth.

Well, I am not going to let that discourage me at all. I think I am still doing good, considering I ALMOST FIT IN THEM! Well I actually zipped them up anyways - Woo Hoo!

Thanks for listening. Please leave comments.

My thought for today: Don't let anything discourage you or stand in the way of your goal!

Keep on BFC ' n :-)

  2. I am also an 18 and even though I have lost 25 pounds I still haven't been able to really have a 16 fit. But it shouldn't be much longer!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
