Thursday of week 8: Belly Fat Cure

I woke up this morning and weighed myself (like I usually do) and I was 1 pound lighter. Even though I am on my monthly today. That's a good sign, because I am always 3-5 lbs heavier on my monthly time. I really can't count it until Monday though. I need to make sure my weight stays the same for several days before I count it.
I've linked some of my favorite things that I love to eat on the side. I finally tasted that Barleans Flax oil. I kept saying - what do you do with it?? No one could answer me, until I went to that Health Expo last weekend. They had a booth. I tasted it and yum was it good. They said just eat it right off the spoon or put it on cottage cheese or yogurt. DELICIOUS!! & Jorge says it's one of the 5 foods that women over 40 should eat.
Here is a list:
1 - Salmon
2- Spinach
3- Eggs (the whole egg not just the whites)
4- Cinnamon (I sprinkle in my coffee and oatmeal or on your toast with butter)
5- Flax Seed Oil (Barleans)

Some people keep saying to make sure that I eat all the 6 servings of carbs, which I wasn't doing. I thought if I skimped on that - I would loose faster. Yesterday I downloaded a tracker from Amber's blog: (http://www.meandjorge.com/) . Which was very helpful! Thanks Amber! You can track what you eat throughout the day. Some of the foods I eat weren't on there, so I had to add them to the list. I tryed to eat all the good carbs yesterday. I ate 115gms. 6 servings is 120, so I did good, and look down 1 pound. But I did do 2 laps of walking yesterday instead of just 1.

My thought for today and everyday: I love how I feel! I know we can do it!! Don't give up too quiclky!!

Keep on BFC ' n

By the way my daughter hated the picture of her I put on yesterday, so here's a better one. Love You!

Some tips if you are having trouble

  • First make sure that you are staying under the 15/6. 15 sugars and 6 servings of carbs for the whole day. Thats no more than 5 sugars and 2 servings of carbs per meal.
  • Track all of your sugar/carbs. Add everything from your meal together and count them that way.
  • Try to stop eating whole grain carbs after 3pm.
  • Make sure you drink lots of water.
  • Count everything that you put into your mouth. Even sauces - everything , check labels.
  • Make sure that you don't eat any artificial sugars. Check labels, if it says sugar free - look in the ingredients, look for....sucralose, aspartame, saccharine in the ingredients. Those are BAD!
  • Going #2 is a big problem when a lot of people start the BFC. I have solved that problem with Clear Benefiber in my morning coffee and a scoop of Super Seed w/water in the afternoon. (you can buy the super seed on Amazon.com it is the cheapest).
  • Choose your carbs wisely. Try to pick the carbs that will give you the lowest count of carbs, sugar and calories and the most fiber.

I hope this helps.
